Both singers are great, but to hear how Stevie so effortlessly sings "put on the red light", near the end- what an incredible range! And Sting's contribution to "Higher Ground" at 5:51 and on, is nothing to scoff at either! Tight band too!

Both are playing and they are playing the same bass lines otherwise it would get awfully muddy. Check it out when the camera is on both of them. Keep in mind when it comes to bass and guitar you can play the same notes at different places on the fretboard.
