  • awe, when Richard asks Jill about hell.... :'( 8:59

  • I once spoke to a protestant priest who, to my surprise, said:

    1. he believed in the fact of evolution

    2. he doesn't believe in god as a "person"

    3. he sees god as 'something' man can not comprehend, but 'it' is there

    4. that the people who wrote the bible were naturally confined within their empirical reach, thus should NOT taken word for word

    5. but embraces the word of Christ as in a philosophy of peace

Although I'd take it even further, he actually made sense.

  • Is it not so simple to see how religion is being used as a tool for the government to control the masses? The government keeps putting money into building such religious schools to brainwash the young so that when they are older they will not question as much and they will be easier to persuade. Can people not realize the close ties here???

  • Religion is a WMD

  • Sad, nearly none of the kids in this school will turn out to become a scientist, a doctor, a engineer, etc. Its a pity, tey don't even get a chance.

  • @Akka225 Evolution is the only theory that religion rules out.. the laws of physics and the elements of chemistry are all taught in schools. so why cant they become scientists(geologists, dermatologists) or engineers..

mind you, ENGINEERING has nothing to do with evolution.

  • @DDrogba113 It does in the sense that the history of engineering (eng.) is the history of copying nature. I study civil eng. and this becomes specially obvious in the area of structural optimization. Now,you can believe animals' bone structures, tissues and habits are close to optimal solutions because god decided to make animals almost perfect (why didn't he make them totaly perfect?),or because they are the result of iterative adaptation to a changing medium. Eng. supports the latter

  • @miguelgdonoso I understand what you mean..but God alone is perfect..i never claimed all of us are perfect and that is because if we were all perfect it takes away our humanity..We wouldn't be called humans... the same thing with our weaknesses.. but if you look at it we are well adapted in terms of our basic needs..for example.. if you tell me natural selection decided to gives us,"apes", as you call us,thumbs so that we could pick things up.. please lookup he kalaam cosmological argument. :D

  • @DDrogba113 please don´t put in my mouth arguments I haven´t used (such as that thumb argument I never said explicitly or implicitly). Please don´t mistake perfection the way you are using it with the way I´m using it (you are most probably using in an absolute way, I am talking about sub-optimal solutions that have predefined objectives to optimize; i.e. you are using "perfect" as in "God is perfect", I am using "perfect" in a mathematical sense). Please don´t commit petitio principii

  • @miguelgdonoso * if you tell me that natural selection gave us thumbs then that doesn't sound very scientific... there are very few times where we say if only we had something extra..but if you look at it we don't..(e.g. flying, breathing underwater) if we didn't have thumbs we could say that "if God created us,then why didn't he allow us to carry things?" But the truth in the matter is, He DID give us thumbs and many other necessary organs and parts vital for our survival and convenience

  • @DDrogba113 I didn't mean they can't become scientists. It is just not very likely. The kids in this video have religious examples in all they textbooks, for math, biology, english, etc. Its very unlikely, that a kid that gets belief tought in every class develops an iterest for something that is based on the sientific method (1.Problem,2.Therory for Solution,3.Test,Study,Prototype,4. Error Extermination,5.New Problem closer to solution), and that method is also true for engineering.

  • @Akka225 You said "it's a pity they dont even have a chance" - Akka225

Anyway.. I have been studying in a normal school that teaches Islam as a prerequisite and all they do in the biology class is not teach evolution but every other topic is covered from homeostasis to Genes.. They do teach the method you mentioned above.. only because evolution isnt taught doesnt make it a close-minded school..

    Theories are NOT FACT.

  • @DDrogba113 You're right gravity doesn't exist

  • @noentrie I never said that... you people love making others look stupid even when they haven't said something you claim.. that show how insecure you are and it also shows why people believe in God, because gravity is essential, without it, we wouldn't be able to build houses..and there would be no rain fall.. so please be reasonable...

  • @Akka225 Like the man said in the video, that when he was in school they taught them that the moon came from the sea...again it was a theory and was dis proven..how do we know the theory of evolution will nit be laughed at in the next 50 years?

The quran also teaches us to use our intellectual faculties and to use reason in numerous verses including :

"The things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason:.. " 7:33

  • @DDrogba113 We should probably stop teaching math, english, biology, and every other subject because because it might be laughed at in 50 years? Weak reasoning, try again.

  • @toberoo The thing is, maths can be dis proven in a shorter time than a theory which tries to explain a "phenomenon" that they claim has been taking place over a period of millions of years.. same with english you can't disprove it...the theories of biology and physics are the only ones where it may be difficult to prove or dis prove.. you're the one with weak reasoning by talking about english and maths LOL

  • @DDrogba113 Your weak English is a testament to what I'm saying; language can change dramatically over time, yet we still learn about the obsolete English of Shakespeare. Just because something may or may not be true, does not mean it should be thought. The best model at the current time is most likely correct. Should we forgo very useful mathematical theories with practical applications because they could be wrong? How about the instrumentality evolution plays in fighting evolving diseases?

  • @toberoo I have weak english? anyway, how about evolution is taught but as theory not fact?

That would not impose any belief on the child who can then think and then conclude..

That is the only way forward in my opinion..

I am against anyone who claims evolution is a FACT...not teaching it...

  • @DDrogba113 In a sense, you are right. Even though we can see evolution happening in micro organisms, even though it is instrumental in our understanding of biology, we should teach it with the same skepticism that we treat other theories. Other theories, most notably, being Gravity. We should also teach Buddhism, Taoism, Greek Mythology, Paganism,Scientology, Christianity ect. If evolution did not contradict your dogma, you would believe it as much as you believe any other scientific fact,.

  • i did not need the 10 commandments to tell me that killing and stealing is bad... i just had parents who had enough sense to tell me its wrong...

  • Its david brent!

  • Do I think that if god wanted to? Did he say that around minute 3?

  • ill tell you why i dont like associating the word atheist with people. atheist means not to beleive in the concept of a god that crested the univers. richard dawkins is a biologist that beleives the big bang theory. then to refer in a scientific pose that you beleive in an atheist concept i can agree, when people choose to identify themselves as atheist , then theyre saying they have the knowledge that god dont exist. god is an atheism.

  • Im 3 yrs old and glad I got it early :) .. Its a crazy world we live in.

  • Maybe my question is foolish, or stupid.........I don't know.

  • Why is it that some people would never kill, rape, steal, or cheat, but others that have been raised in the same society have no problem killing, stealing, raping, or cheating? Does individual morality come from common sense, intelligence, genetics....how is it that we develop our own morality?

  • @baahhhFATALITY11 i dunno the answer- but i just know that in order NOT to gain eternal life suggested by the bible, id have to become wicked. its too much work

  • @2rainmalt That......that was not the question. Why "become wicked" anyhow? It goes against my moral code.

  • @baahhhFATALITY11 i dont kill rape or steal (basics) because i just am this way. ( i have no merit)although dont want eternal life described in the bible. to avoid bibles eternal life must i live a life of wickedness? or can i live a life in total acceptance and accept that life is filled with extremes measures. morality is a question of tradition, culture on a collective scale.follies are everywhere in everyone at any time. what balance the follies out is gods 10 attributes

  • she looks like a man

  • This is unacceptable. Our world will continue to be fucked if religion continues to live. I'm glad I saw the truth and broke the tradition of religion in my family. My parents will be the last religious in my side of the family. My sister is atheist as well.

  • @kikomagana1990 gratz

  • @kikomagana1990 good job.

  • I liked the part where he made this face ---> |:L

  • thank science for the internet.

  • schools of religion are just like schools of science,eh??? yellow ghetto- white ghetto. rich bastard poor bastard.

  • too much of anything is capable of ills........too much science, too much faith, too much religion,.......regardless; all these things have done something to improve many peoples lives. usually as an escape from one of the above.

  • Utterly and absolutely horrific. These kids don't have a shred of choice in which schools they attend -- and many are too young and/or too dogmatically entrenched to realize the true nature and agenda of private institutions, and are so very vulnerable and susceptible in the naivety of infancy, childhood, and peer and social pressure.

It is the very quintessence of dogmatic brainwashing, and it only testifies to the humiliating, sickening horrors humanity is capable of.

    Wow.

  • Notice how the students are confined to their own little pods. A way to refrain from open class discussion perhaps?

  • I'm only 17 and I became an atheist around the summer of 2009, meaning I was 15. I wish I was a faster learner. All the years I wasted watching TV and being a fundamentalist make me regret the little bastard I was. I'm glad I made the change, I'm a much better and happier person for it!

  • @notessimodude

what made you go from a fundamentalist to an atheist?

I don't think it's a bad thing to became an atheist..just curious why...

  • @luigee78 Well, I may have been programmed for it, if that makes sense. Church and the summer-time Christian Camps I went to actually had the opposite effect on me that it should've. I saw some of the words of the preachers as evil. They utterly disgusted me. When I went back to camp this past year, I knew my faith was dead. But I went and you know, I saw through all the lies, but nobody else did. I even got in a few debates, and the dogma pissed me off. What about you?

  • @notessimodude

I'm a bit older than you...but my journey started when I was 12 and started to question what the Catholic church was teaching...eventually as I got older I decided I had to figure things out on my own, so I rejected religion and became a "nerd" and got into science and discovery...also, I saw the hatred and fear from those around me who were religious and that seemed wrong to me. I didn't want that for me, so I guess many things were a factor in my evolution.

  • Dawkins shows great restraint not decking people, or at least laughing derisively in their faces

  • Do we really need a god(s) to tell us not to kill, lie, cheat, and steal?

  • @ThePhantom135

Of course not, but religion is a good tool for primitive civilizations to enforce it's people to follow rules and/or exploit them.

  • @ThePhantom135 you mean you don't always have an urge to kill, lie, cheat, and steal?

  • @ThePhantom135 lol apprently we do

  • @ThePhantom135 You don't need any god/ gods to tell you anything. Common sense tells you not to. Your mind is not jelly, think for yourself. :P

  • @LogicShadow I know, I'm an atheist.

  • @ThePhantom135 So am I :P lol

  • @LogicShadow I just voted you thumbs up :)

  • @ThePhantom135 Thank you so did I. :)

  • @LogicShadow im i just living waiting to die? why im i on this earth? is this the why life is, nothing else to it? is there really a God, can i say no for sure? what if im wrong? what if God really love me and want to take me away from this evil place. is there more to live that i dont know? do i want to know these things,im i fooling myself? do i need to truly seek God to find these things out. do i really want to know these things? why im i afraid to seek God? God love you pll!

  • @LogicShadow i see your'e still rejecting the spirit of God, but i see that your'e empty inside and are searching for the truth, but the truth is right infront of you, jesus is the one youv'e been looking for my friend, i promise you all the money i have that you will not find ture peace in nothing that Richard Dawkins or now of your atheist friends can say are do to give you eterrnal peace. and yes hell is real. come to jesus and recieve the love your'e are searching for.

  • @classiq876 Hell is real, you're damn right. We're living it right now, hell is all the suffering and ignorance cause by religion and religious fanatics like yourself.

  • @ThePhantom135 God(s) is needed to kill, lie, cheat and steal...

  • @inkosoft No there not...

  • @ThePhantom135 well you have law that says this, but some people cant recognize how to obtain wisdom(notsuggestingthat only bible gives this) and even when some people do what feels right, theyre really just paving the road to hell( just an expression not a location) so god concept doesnt have to be tied down to a religion im sure god is an atheist. but i would like to beleive that evolution includes wisdom .. wisdom is a godly attribute

  • @ThePhantom135 Actually, it is known that the behaviour of a human is determined by the values instilled by religion.since religion existed probably the same time that humans did,it has always been the norm no to kill, steal and cheat.

For example, in arabia before the prophet muhammad, slavery, corruption and cruelty was widespread and that was based on the fact that they did NOT follow a righteous religion.

  • @ThePhantom135 thank you!

  • @ThePhantom135 yes, look at the london riots....

  • @ThePhantom135 and then god said, thou shalt not be a dick. if someone needs to hear that then they cant be too smart, it's just common sense really.

  • haaa! I love that so many religious people say that they cant imagine not raping and murdering if it wasnt for the "fact" that god watches them and threatens them. so theyre psychopaths. great argument

  • @frilansspion Look at the Catholic church, they do it despite their own rules. lol

  • lol according to christians you'll burn in hell, how the fuck can a person's "soul" burn? have they ever stopped to think about that? You don't FEEL anything, no pain no nothing when you die.

ppl talk about the physical pain you experience in hell, without a BODY? -,-

  • Listening to Richard's logic makes me at peace with death. Religions just scares you. If you mess up you are going to burn forever. Richard points out what is really wrong with religion. It gives me comfort because of the staright forward question filled logic. Thanks Richard.

  • ... his mind is stuck in permanent state of infancy .... You just got to love Dr Richard Dawkins

  • @Miguelito1701 too right mate!

  • im 16 and glad I get it early :)

  • @3xAmigosProductions your lucky it took me till I was 18 One can only hope others start to get it even earlier. It will ultimately lead to a healthier civilization

  • @randy9121 Yeah for sure, I believe once we can throw religious crap aside, we can focus fully on the bettering of our species.

  • Comment removed

  • @3xAmigosProductions 15 :) hehehe, actually 13 but i was attacked

  • @incaugnito37 attacked? whatever do you mean?

  • @3xAmigosProductions by my catholic education system and catholic family

  • @incaugnito37 ah, well congratulations on being even slightly logical :)

  • @3xAmigosProductions SAme here :)

  • @3xAmigosProductions It's a\just the start, there's whole world to discover ;)

  • @3xAmigosProductions I second that :D

  • Dawkins' view (science, which to me he kind of views it as his "truth" or religion) and religion's view the same thing, they are just fighting for ppl to believe their own religion, and perspectives, I don't see the point of this videos

  • @jonaestrada that's not at all what he's trying to do.

  • i see David Brent has shaved off his goatee and become a bible bashing loony

  • bah religon should keep away from education and politics it has a way of fucking things up

  • this guy is making carl pilkington sound like Einstein!!!

  • @iyot1020 Weird innit?

  • "I think that all people, if they think they can get away with something and it is there is no consequences, we actually tend to do that."

There is a reason why your religion is vile and appalling. If I could get away with rape, or murder, or stealing and abuse - I wouldn't. I wouldn't even consider it. I am more moral than your God, than your immoral book and more moral than you. Fuck off.

  • Yes, Jesus did say he was the truth, but then, so did L. Ron Hubbard. And no one thinks he was more than a mentally insane jackass and money launderer.

  • "I don't care about the answer"

You just pin point the problem bro!!!

You don't care, you earn your money with stupidity and you don't have to think to do it!

God can do it in 6 days, of course he can!... But my god did it is 1 billionian second, it is written on a post-it!!!

"Moon from Ocean" Oh yeah! and the chocolate is packed by gremlins

Please, Don't sleep in the back of the class in your next life!!!

  • I was raised Christian and after 13 years of forced religious beliefs I finally realized that God and Christianity didn't have to be real and was probably a big lie. To this day I feel constant guilt for involuntary sinning, I still feel like God is watching and judging me, and I am STILL afraid of going to hell. It is so hard to push out of my mind. I was brainwashed...the mind of a child is so vulnerable. A kid has no choice but to believe what their parents and adults say.

  • Evolution is a faith. Yes, it takes great leaps and bounds of faith to say we can from monkeys! Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Yes, it is a great leap to say we came from monkeys. Because we didn't, infact, come from monkeys. Please, educate yourself.

  • @BlackKnight1239 An ape like ancestor perhaps but who cares because it is a LIE. Gain wisdom and read Genesis. We came from Adam and Eve and God made them both.

  • @beautifulwhitecat So, all human beings are 100% inbred. Seems completely legit.

  • @shinryu1285 Yes we come from Adam and Eve because they were the first people created. 1 male and 1 female was created and that was enough for producing children. If God chose to only make 2 people, that's okay with me. Praise God for even giving us life at all! : D

  • @beautifulwhitecat By this logic, fucking your sister and/or mother is the same as anyone else.

Also, go to school. A real school. You know, the ones that teach real facts.

  • @shinryu1285 What's worse, the story goes that God created Eve from Adam's rib bone. If that is the case, then Eve should have an identical genetical structure right? So Eve had an XY chromosome, an yes, was a dude. So, according to creationist belief, not only are we all inbred, but we shouldn't even be here!

  • @shinryu1285 And the funny thing is, in the bible humans aren't meant to inbreed. Yet the story of Lot and his daughters say otherwise.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Yet we have proof of a common ancestor. Our genes are so similar, and we share many of the same traits. Combine that with the fossil record of pre-human mammals, and it's easy to see that the evolution of man is truth. Genesis is a statement with no proof. The earth is 4 billion years old, not 6000. If animals where all created unique, why are we so similar on the basic level? Why are dinosaur remains fossils and man's not, when they were created the same time?

  • @beautifulwhitecat Let me attempt to assist in your edification. Evolution is agreed upon by the vast majority of relevant scientists (completely dwarfing any contradictory viewpoint)....and is also frequently utilized in numerous fields of scientific study. I will post a few (and I have many more) examples of exactly how evolution is ONLY rejected when it conflicts with religious bias.

  • @beautifulwhitecat In fact, EVOLUTION is being put to practical use in industry and widely used on a DAILY basis by researchers in medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics to both formulate hypotheses about biological systems for the purposes of experimental design, as well as to rationalize observed data and prepare applications.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Belief in creationism is inversely correlated to education; only 22% of those with post-graduate degrees believe in strict creationism. In 2006, New Scientist reported that almost 2/3 of Americans believe they share less than half their genes with "monkeys", when in fact the figure is between 95--99% depending on the primate.

  • @beautifulwhitecat The level of support for creationism among relevant scientists is minimal. Only 700 out of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists gave credence to creationism in 1987,[21] representing about 0.146% of relevant scientists. Darwin Dissenters represent about 0.0157% of the US biologists that existed in 1999.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Many Creationists prefer to state that Micro-evolution is valid and Macro-evolution is not. The only reason that Micro-E is accepted by Creationists is because it has been proven repeatedly under controlled conditions and there are many examples of Micro-E that we can view in everyday life. Macro-E is not accepted since it would then be confirming that Creation was inaccurate. (cont)

  • @beautifulwhitecat "Micro-evolution" and "Macro-evolution" are not recognized as sub-groups of evolution by the biological scientific community...there is only "evolution". PubMed(dot)gov reports that there are 179 publications on "Macro-E", 341 publications on "Micro-E" and 247,308 publications on "evolution". Even the "platypus" has 414 publications...so there are more articles about one animal than Micro-E or Macro-E.

  • @beautifulwhitecat We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Atomic Theory, Theory of Matter and Energy, Cell Theory, Germ Theory, Theory of Plate Tectonics, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Quantum Mechanics, Theory of Relativity, Theory of Light Energy, Theory of Electromagnetism, Theory of Radioactivity, Theory of Molecular Bonds, Theory of Homeostasis, Theory of Gravity, etc..

These are all theories also...but only evolution and the Big Bang are disputed. The reason is because they conflict with a 2,000 year old holy book.

  • @beautifulwhitecat OUTSIDE OF SCIENCE, 'theory' means speculation or 'unproven conjecture'. The definition for 'theory' in a scientific context is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate FACTS and LAWS and tested hypotheses"; 'true in fact and theory'." (cont)

  • @beautifulwhitecat Here is another example: "a logical, systematic set of principles or explanation that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and HAS STOOD UP AGAINST ATTEMPTS TO PROVE IT FALSE. A scientific theory can be used to make a variety of predictions of what will happen under different circumstances."

  • @beautifulwhitecat As you can see, theory is defined differently in science. It doesn't go FROM a THEORY and get 'promoted' TO a LAW. You cannot say "It's ONLY a theory" when you are speaking of the scientific meaning. I have a large amount of additional evidence that I can post if you would still like to continue debating the validity of evolution. Evolution is a fact...there is no way to dispute it. Let me know if you would like more detailed information with specific sources.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 My bad....micro evolution is really observable. There are a variety of dogs from the dog "KIND". There are chihuahuas and great danes, for example. Thank you for the offer, but I will decline. I suggest you watch the Creation Seminars of Dr. Kent Hovind AKA Dr Dino. By the way, you are a very special creation God made. Man is made in His image. You are very important to Him! He loves you so much! Please repent and trust in the Savior now! : )

  • @beautifulwhitecat "Dr." Hovind also relied on a 2,000 year old holy book for his scientific knowledge and consequently espoused vast quantities of effluvium. He can't do that now, since he was sent to federal prison for ten years in 2007.

You have clearly exhibited that you know nothing about evolution.

Ignoring all the evidence that I posted simply means you are a good Christian. The evidence didn't disappear...it is still there and just as valid...you just choose to ignore it.

  • @CynicalSkeptic1 No, I am not a know it all when it comes to "evolution" by no means. The so called evidence for evolution may very well be misinterpreted. The "there is no God" world view will interpret scientific evidence very different from the Christian. If science goes against God's word, then it cannot be correct. 1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

  • @beautifulwhitecat There is no more reason to believe in the biblical god then any of the other thousands of god which man has invented throughout the ages. Do you believe in Allah? or Zeus? or Apollo? or Aphrodite? or Wotan? or Horus?....

No, you only believe in one god. I simply add your god to the very long list of gods which we BOTH agree do not exist.

Evolution is a fact of life....choosing to disbelieve in evolution in deference to a 2,000 year old holy book is utterly absurd.

  • @CynicalSkeptic 1 He exists and I can only imagine how wonderful it will be to see Him when I pass from this life to eternal life with the Blessed & Almighty Creator! Just as a watch has a watchmaker, creation must have a Creator. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

  • @beautifulwhitecat

You realise that evolution has been accepted by not only the vast majority of all scientists, but also by the majority of clerics? The freaking pope would not deny that evolution is a scientific fact.

  • @Surtak It doesn't matter what the majority believes. What matters is if what they believe is actually true. I am not Catholic so it doesn't matter if the pope were to say black is white. He is not my authority. God is and His word is true. Evolution takes faith just as any religion.

  • @beautifulwhitecat

So basically what you're saying is you believe in God and you're quoting the bible, so let's assume you believe that as well.

Then you go on to say that the very people that actually WROTE the bible and developed the vast majority of the things you believe in are no authority to you? Because that's what the catholic church is.

The only thing I can conclude is that you think you're speaking directly with god, because that is the only way to get a more trustworthy source.

  • @Surtak God's word comes from God. It was penned by 40 divinely inspired writers. Some of the new testament was actually written by the disciples who lived and walked with Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

  • @beautifulwhitecat Cuckoo cuckoo

  • @progfan71 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • @beautifulwhitecat Take your bible and shove it up your arse!

  • @progfan71 God bless you! God loves you! Hope you will repent and trust in the Savior Jesus Christ. : )

  • @beautifulwhitecat I hope you come to your senses and realize how stupid religion is and that man has no need for it. Intelligent human beings have no need for these superstitions

  • @progfan71 I hope you will also come to your senses and realize your need not for religion but for Jesus Christ. The following separates Christianity from other religions. Other religions have to perform some work to reach to God, but in Christianity God reached down to us by His grace. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  • @beautifulwhitecat See, quoting bible verses is not proof of anything, except that primitive people two thousand years ago wrote something that you are foolish enough to believe. I could write a book about a flying spaghetti monster, and how it saved us from "sin", and people thousands of years from now could read it, and believe it, but does that make it true? You're a victim of mob mentality. A crazy person surrounded by people who are equally as crazy starts to feel justified in his insanity.

  • @IAmBadatStarcraft Wow, I feel the same about atheism/evolution. It really does take bunch of faith to believe that everything came from absolutely nothing. It is funny that Mr Dawkin's show is called the Virus of Faith when it takes faith to believe there is no God. How can you even look at the creation and not realize there is a Creator? If you want to talk about crazy, there it is!

  • @beautifulwhitecat The difference is that evolution HAS lots of evidence supporting it. Natural selection has been observed, through the fossil record, and even through some smaller examples in the space of a few lifetimes. Dawkins talks often about how the genetic code of all living organisms is only about 5-30 letters different, depending on how far away in species they are. It forms a hierarchy, and a tree, that you can follow and show how these things developed. We have more than just a book

  • @IAmBadatStarcraft The real question is where are you going to spend eternity? It is the most important question since there are only 2 choices: Heaven or Hell. Repent and trust the Savior Jesus Christ before your time runs out here on Earth!

  • @beautifulwhitecat And yet again, you provide no evidence as to why that is the truth. I understand why people like you believe - you're scared. You think "What's the risk in believing? If we're right, we get an eternity in paradise, and if we're wrong, nothing happens. But if we DON'T believe, and god does exist, then we burn forever." It's a scare tactic. They use it to get you to believe things that aren't real. Use your free will. Use your mind. Be a stronger person, you CAN do it.

  • @IAmBadatStarcraft Atheists, like yourself, are so "open minded" that your brains have fallen out! Yes, you were warned. God is a righteous Judge and we are worthy of death. Praise the Lord that He became a sacrifice for us so that we could be completely forgiven. God owns this whole world and everything in it. He does not have to abide by the "holy" scientific laws. He CAN do whatever He wishes. Miracles need not be explained by "holy" science. How boring & retarded atheism really is!

  • @beautifulwhitecat Right. Your style of arguing is pointless. You make a statement, and then repeat it over and over again as if that justifies it as fact. You can SAY that God created the earth all you want, but that doesn't make it any more true. You're closing your mind, you're ignoring evidence, and you're embarrassing yourself. We ARE open minded, because we did the research, and have drawn the logical conclusion that there is no fairy tale being. Grow up.

  • @IAmBadatStarcraft Believe whatever you want to believe and do whatever you want to do. I choose to live for the REAL God who was, is and is to come. You do have a god but it is definitely not mine. You have created an idol for yourself called science. You are putting this before God. Revelation 22:11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

  • why are all the religious people always actin on defensive or like if they hide something really bad to extremes of total denial or if they canbe bully by bulling?

  • @alracgabu Cause they love cash.

  • @alracgabu I hate to remind you but, that's exactly how cults react when an outsider approaches them to inquire about their beliefs.

  • @alracgabu Well wouldn't you be defensive if you believed something without having a logical argument to justify it? ;)

  • Ahhhh yes....Ark science....a very 'alternate' view

  • "religion provides a false delusion of evolutionary advantage for an extended life" ~me

  • @Mochagar75 thank you for actually proving Dawkins' point.

  • 4:10 Yes, is that why the Scandinavian countries, who have some of the highest percentage of atheists in their population seem to have some of the lowest crime rates in the world and perhaps some of the most prosperous and content citizens? Canada and Australia aren't very far behind either. Non-believers are rapists and murderers, huh?

  • If AIDS is God's punishment for homosexuality, then why do people who are straight get AIDS? And why do people get it from tainted blood transfusions (it's rare, but it happens)?

  • Comment removed

  • How does this stuff not just make Dawkins' head explode? I'm a fairly new realized athiest and hearing about the rise of these religious schools that teach myth as fact, obvious myth, as fact. My brain doesn't like it.

  • People is taking CatFacedKillers's comment out of context.. Its from a Cartoon programme called South Park...

  • @westside1love Yeah? and you is clearly an I D I O T

  • @viper100200 Whoa? Someone needs to get laid.. Bit cranky there.

  • @rashaan6 take a breath, he was quoting a south park episode.

  • Relimuppet:: I care about what's true!

    RD: Yes....

  • Eh... How about raping and murder and such would be wrong because A) how would YOU like to get raped and murdered? and B) If you don't give a shit about the victims feelings, how will you feel when your victims family comes to cave your skull in?

You see, the reason we have laws against people hurting eachother, is because society tends to collapse when people go murdering eachother randomly.

Gods don't have anything to do with that sort of stuff.

  • @TheSkunkCat

I mean seriously... fundies like that guy... they're obnoxious, because they're so bloody dishonest. You can destroy every argument, and they might even admit some of them weren't so hot. But they'll use ALL the arguments again on the next person, because their natural liars.

  • -I care about what's true!

    -Myes....

    LOL, that said it all

  • God is not an absentee landlord as Hollywood will have you believe IN Al Pacino's little rant during Devil's Advocate. On the contrary, God will soon reveal himself through the Law. Having designed a perfect defense against those who currently seek to enslave us. "The Remedy is in the LAW" It's an exciting time to be alive, were in for the fight of the millennium , Good vs Evil fortunately it is written!

  • @MarshallAMarshall He is running kind of late isn't he?

  • Science is now discovering just the opposite that some creative consciousness is present and off all things at the level of DNA where the codes are exactly that of a written language.

  • @MarshallAMarshall

Thats not science, if its from a religious channel like TBN channel it's not creditied science at all, its religious propaganda!!

  • Well, according to the logic of this very confused man, I (an atheist) am getting dressed and off to rape a child, murder some poor unsuspecting bastard and steal myself a bike. See ya later kids!
