Siepi is beyond criticism here - simply astounding, but where is the bass violin accompaniment? Even if you don't have an orchestra you should really do this with the bass. It's sort of a duet you know.

Cesare Siepi ist definitiv einer der besten Basssänger aller Zeiten. Technisch nahezu perfekt, sanglich cantabel. Sein deutsch ist für mich aussergewöhnlich.

Habe noch nie einen fremdsprachigen Sänger so penibel deutsch singen hören.

Er gilt zurecht unter Sängern als absolutes Vorbild.
