  • She has a good voice, but not a great voice. Definitely not a Grammy-award winning voice, and both her low notes and high notes are weak.

  • She's definitely an alto. And how I can tell is her range is an semitone lower than the soprano range, I have good ears and I can tell.

  • @Teddyrockstheworld1 She's not an alto she's a soprano. Alto has heavier darker voices like Adele, plus, her range starts from a C3 Alto goes lower than that.

  • she is amazing

  • HA HA HA...her low notes are pretty great, u knw

Hear a live version of Katy Perry's Firework which has low notes in the first verse :p

On a very serious note, ashley is pretty amazing!

  • does she have any whistle notes?

  • She has truely improved over the years!!! She rocks!

  • @michaeldriggers123 Maybe... but they both can't so :P

  • sorry, i mean she kinda has a cute voice, but she really isnt a very good singer. she seems to be able to carry a tune, but she doesnt have much of a voice. however, shes a great actress and looks really pretty w/ her dark hair.

  • When you were making this video, did you really not notice allll that autotune? She can't even really hit half of these notes?

  • I think she has a great voice but her voice is very sappy and poppy and thats why she's not taken seriously as a singer probably.

  • hay you can so the

    taylor momsen's vocal range

    cassade pope's vocal range

    and pixie lott's vocal range???

    thanks

  • i love u ashley

  • I really think she needs to thank her auto-tuner.

  • I love her.

  • Her vocal is pretty much equivalent to Miley Cyrus. Her voice doesn't make me want to off myself though.

  • whats with all the comparing with her. Why do people expect her to have a voice like someone else. If she didnt have her voice, then there wouldnt be any originality. GROW UP PEOPLE.

  • She's an alto. She can go a little higher than a mezzo soprano. Her lower range is a lot stronger. Her high notes sound nasally and forced.

  • Her A5 its on last xmas song (her version) in the part where she sings: Once bitter and twice shy, i keep my distance but you still catch my eye

  • Can hardly sing. One of the many reasons we need Aaliyah back.

  • is the same notes of hayley williams

ashley the best and hayley too!!

  • she's a soubrette cuz britney spears is a soubrette and the both has the same vocal range

  • U can hear the auto tune lol

  • i think that she's a falcon

  • she's the best singer ever, i saw her in live 'em she's totally awesome!

  • I didn't hear any C#3 at the beginning

  • @JamieMinns me too.

  • Why do you guys use studio album songs to show singers' vocal ranges? it's pointless, there are plenty of programs and apps that can enhance your voice and make it sound like you're reaching a high note, like autotune, which rappers and other talentless brats use nowadays, I think you should take clips from their live shows and show us what they can really do because it is not fair

  • @bryanashford autotune is for tune a note, not for changing picthes -.-

  • @Fabiuguz you can use hundreds of apps in autotune which can do almost everything

  • @bryanashford yes but so that's not autotune, it's editing

  • @Fabiuguz I know lol. Still fake xD

I like Ashley Tisdale with or without editing :P

  • whats the song on C#5?

  • When Ashley speaks normally she still sounds great! It's interesting but I think if you sing a lot it can help out when you speak because it uses the same stuff.

  • I wish i knew music like you guys do!! I dont know the name of notes... i just like music and like to sing!

  • @missbre87 Me too! :[

  • What's the Eb3 song?

  • Headstrong

  • f#5 is not a falseto note its a belted i think Bb5 starts falsetto

  • falsetto doesn't have a specific starting point... you can falsetto any note it goes chest/mix - falsetto- then head voice - then whistle register

  • can someone explain to me what a falsetto note is? :)

  • The F#5 goes up to a B5 but we all make mistakes :) she's not a bad singer but I'm not a big fan of the music she sings

  • The clip of the background vocals of Headstrong isn't Ashley and the lowest note is C#3, but it's ok. And she laughed a D6 in the bloopers of HSM2; don't worry about it :)

  • she's actually pretty good live. better than vanessa. look up ashley tisdale live at citadel. she ain't no xtina, but she CAN sing without a computer.

  • personally, i really do think she CAN sing. u sould hear her live. she may not b all that awesome, but she's good enough 4 me

  • Meh. I want to see this video of her WITHOUT the computer shit. I hate it when people hide behind synthesizers.

  • Well, actually any person, singer or not has a vocal range haha so...

She's that weird kind of mezzo with a soprano timbre... that kind of voice type which can cause a singing teacher to doubt... calling her a soubrette, would be to risky and definitely not needed, cause she's singing pop, so classifying pop voices doesn't need to go any further than soprano, mezzo or contralto... or maybe even just soprano or alto...

  • vocal range videos requires someone who can actually sing.

    this is pathetic.

  • im not impressed. sorry. i think her voice anoys me.

if you guys really wanna be impressed, search

"Kelly Clarkson live vocal range belted notes"

    i guarentee you'll be impressed!!!

  • she totally can't go in low notes

  • @JojoStar14 Exactly. That's not even a C3

  • @JojoStar14 i agree totally !!

  • all of these low notes, are made with studio effects, she has not those low notes really

  • She's actually pretty good

  • whats the last song

  • haha i never mentioned ashley here...haha whatever...vanessa is not good enough sorry ^^

  • she could sing, i liked one song she came out with, but like miley i think if her music matures she would be a great artist, i think she needs to leave the high school musical thing alone for a while, and focus on the music

  • she did. she's not in disney no more. (:

  • oh well now that i know i think she is going to be a great artist, because she will have more time to focus on her music, i really wish ashely the best.

  • I want to hear this D6 so much! :D

Her low notes arent that stable, and they don't sound dark,so definitely not an alto.

Her middle register is strong so that makes me lean towards her being a mezzo soprano however her voice also has a youthfulness of a soubrette, hmm.

  • What's the song at 1:20? (Yeah eh eh eh...lol)

  • ashley is a good singer, but she don't have a powered voice like demi lovato, hayley williams or vanessa hudgens.

okay, i'm sorry but i think ashley can't sing in live. her voice is sooo much modified in studio sometimes.

  • vanessa??...a powered voice??...ooh yeah¡¡ sure¡¡..¬¬..then pigs really fly ^^

  • vanessa's voice may be nasally but she does have a powerful voice. On her albums we've only seen a little bit of her range, but from the way her voice never strains on hitting any of her notes and on how high her lowest note is, it obvious that she has a bigger range than the albums show. She also has a powerful belting voice, her longest sustained LIVE belted note is 10 sec. Which is more than i have heard demi or haley sing. Haley has a strong voice but she doesn't have much of a range

  • Uhh Hayley has more range than Vanessa Hudgens. She has even has access of whistle register. duh

  • she cant sing live worth shit from her 1st album, but she can sing good live from her 2nd album

  • @xxKevohxx does she even sing live? All I heard is her lip syncing.

  • @08Mileyfan Try AOL sessions from her second album. She has nice live vicals

  • @ezeeblue

    GOSH I AGREE WITH U 100%

ashley CANT sing her voice is annoying..kind of horrible...i dont know why people say vanessa is worse than her!!!vanessa is amazing live<3

  • @ezeeblue but of course that she can!!!!! sing!!! n so good!!!! shes the best

  • @ezeeblue i don't think so,did you see van and demi can singing live too?!

  • @ezeeblue yeahh

  • what a second song Low note E3? after I.A.I.O?

  • soubrette soprano

  • Of course, she is a Mezzo. I prefer her in the middle register.

  • Me too. Her low notes aren't very strong

  • Cara do C#3 ao A5 sao 2 oitavas e 5 notas C#5, D5, E5, F5, G5 e A5 entao do C#5 que completa as 2 oitavas conta-se mais cinco notas

  • She is no mezzo at all,her confort zone don't even cover mezzo notes, besides her voice is to light to be a mezzo.

I'm positive she is a sobrette

  • She is most definitely a mezzo. Her lower range is very strong and heavy. Her timbre is not as light as a soprano and her tessitura is not that of a soprano either. It's not about what notes you hit, it's how comfortable you are hitting them :)

  • I believe she is a sobrette-soprano,her register lies between C#3 and E5.A mezzo has a relly deep voice, her voice isn't deep or heavy at all.

  • Comment removed

  • I wrote sobrette soprano,a singer with light and soft voice with a limited range.A sobrette-soprano is not a big voice.

I can't believe you wrote she is a mezzo when her voice is not deep or heavy.

Stop guessing her voice type, study and then come say something.

  • Where did you get the acapella version of her new guilty pleasure songs

  • I guess she's a soprano...for a mezzosoprano is difficult to sing notes like f5!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, to me she's mezzo too.

  • what are the songs in the following minutes: 1:19 end 1:28 ???

  • Erase and rewind and Crank it up

  • lov her

  • I love your vocal ranges (:

  • shes mostly auto tuned.

she cant hit some of those notes live..

  • she's cleary a soprano:) not a mezzo-soprano!

  • She is clearly NOT a Soprano. A Mezzo because her tessitura is lower and she has a nice and comfortable texture/shape in the middle register.

  • but a soprano range is c#3-C5!

  • No, that the a typical range for a Contralto. A Soprano would have a higher and lighter timbre. It's neither light or dark but rather medium. Therefore, she is a Mezzo-Soprano.

  • wow awesome!

  • /watch?v=Vgf96-FC50Q

  • Love belted notes!

  • She's Ok

  • U cant count autotuned, vocoded singers as ppl with ranges

  • I don't really like her tonal quality but she alright

  • yup haha! ouch why won't you make more vocal range video?! that's sad T.T

  • first?
