I think this will be viewed as a great speech. He made a solid case for why we went into Afghanistan, why it is still the threat, and why we need to finish the job. He also gave a time table of expectation, that ensures he has interest in withdrawal. He had inspiring words at the end about our seeking a common purpose, but he didn't turn the event into a flag-waving clap-fest.
He may not fulfill our expectations, in the end, but I am still for his efforts.

And in my own opinion I think it's still a little too early to start judging Obama and that we need to wait a year or more to start making magor judgments on Obama's decisions and performance as president. You know what's wonderful? All of our presidents want to "fix the world" and bs like that. Why not fix the problems we have here? Thank you for such a good short version of this speech! You are very right that we need to look to his actions & not just his words. I also think we should stop bitching about the made up BS from the GOP about the man, it is pure distraction from the real issues.
The advisors & other behind the curtain players that truly control this nation are ruining things for the people who truly want change & improvements. We need to clean up the dirt in politics, but how? How does it happen for real?

I think this will be viewed as a great speech. He made a solid case for why we went into Afghanistan, why it is still the threat, and why we need to finish the job. He also gave a time table of expectation, that ensures he has interest in withdrawal. He had inspiring words at the end about our seeking a common purpose, but he didn't turn the event into a flag-waving clap-fest.
He may not fulfill our expectations, in the end, but I am still for his efforts.

Maybe we can. True a president's words are not definite but with present times I feel that there is less between our current president and the American public. True there has been many a struggle but at least the nation is not being stagnated by war and now shifted back home. That is change.

It is a fair point, but without a decent amount of viewers it is just not worth my time to make them. I make videos to reach many people to help spread the news. If my audience is really small I can just spend time doing something else. Also, have you sen some of the other people on here. They do all sorts of begging. I just make a simple animation and that is it. Again you make a fair point, but this is the only way we can build our channels here.

understandable, but most are aware of the subscribe feature and such already.
If something is truly done in quality (the way much of your material is) then its able to speak for itself, and will spread quickly.
I think having the giant subscribe was overboard and it interrupted the quality of your work, it is the largest subscribe message i have seen to date. (but i don't use youtube much).
keep up the good work, just tone down the interrupting ad's, maybe put them at the beginning or end?

Well we all have are own opinions I'm just basing mine of my view of the story not saying either of us is right nor wrong. And in my own opinion I think it's still a little too early to start judging Obama and that we need to wait a year or more to start making magor judgments on Obama's decisions and performance as president. But still it's just my opinion you may see it differently cause you were in the military and you have a pretty good idea how tough it is for these guys.

We PAY our farmers to not grow food, We have prohibited speaking negatively against the beef industry. The number of jobless Americans grows everyday. However, our government turns a blind eye to this, OR EVEN ENCOURAGES IT(ex:Farmers). Instead of spending BILLIONS/TRILLIONS on foreign crap, why not fix the problems we have now? How about that?

He's giving a time limit ( I bet he won't be able to keep to), and that puts the military guys on notice to prepare for the possibility that he'll decide to depart the field and declare victory.
