Grandpa Dear has had Alzheimer's since 2002. I am so glad I have these videos of him when he was capable of hiking in the mountains and playing harmonica for us and his grandchildren. Now, 3 years later, he still lives with us, but does not know who we are or how these lovely songs go.
i don't even know the man, but his playing made me cry knowing the story behind it all... god bless
