Back in high school I bought a TurboGrafx-16 and JJ AND JEFF as soon as summer vacation hit. My friends HATED me because all I'd do all day was play JJ AND JEFF and KEITH COURAGE IN ALPHA ZONES. They said I wasted the better part of the summer sitting in front of the TV playing those games. Yesterday I brought out the TurboGrafx and started playing JJ AND JEFF. A buddy of mine came over later that night, heard the game music and instantly started screaming! Classic!
I remember mastering the game at the tender age of 8.. and laughing soo hard at the bird poopie..and parts where you see your friend mooning you..etc..GREAT GAME I think I'll hook up my turbo graphx and play it!
LOL this game was tough and poopie from the birds was so hilarious I ve recently beat the whole thing during the summer You know what the problem was that was so fustrating you remb those green springs that send you back to the levels well when you get to the end you must be careful cause there is so many of them
When I was younger I would accidentally jump on them LOL ooh it got me so mad starting from the beging wasnt fun. I remember finding secrets!(secret brick breaking at 1-4) to in the game when I was younger basically i used my imagination and I kicked everything lol This was one of my favs!!!
This game is actually based on the old Japanese TV show, "Fun TV with Kato-chan & Ken-chan". America's Funniest Home Videos is the American version of that show. The characters of the Japanese version were modeled after the 2 hosts.
The game is tough but one of my favs I've beaten it a year ago which was recently cause win i was younger it was just to hard as you beat the levels its a tricky game lol

of course there is one thing americans should know. that kato and ken-chan's tv show had a segment where viewers submitted home videos. and as a result the US got America's Funniest Home Videos (which explains the "adapted from Fun with Kato-Chan and Ken-Chan" in the credits of AFHV)
Ah yes, I remember that part of the show. I still see Ken-chan now and then on Japanese tv shows, but what happened to Kato-chan?
Do you know where we can get episodes of Kato & Ken? I would like to relive my youth by watching their shows again but can't find episodes online. Someone must have tapes of them?
be sure to check out the episodes from the bob saget years. that's where it can be seen better, because the later seasons have the credits in small letters now
