People should of course wash before and after sex. Cleanliness is a personal choice. Both circ'd and uncirc'd men, and women, should respect hygiene. But of course you are entitled to your preference (if supported by experience).

In 2008, Mor et al (US researchers) compared the prevalence of HIV in a sample of about 60,000 Amercian men, undergoing treatment at American STD clinics. Mor and his team actually found that the CIRCUMCISED American men had statistically slightly more HIV than the UNCIRCUMCISED (although the difference was small).

Penile cancer is an extremely rare condition. The one study that claimed to show an increased risk in intact men is known to be flawed. Penile cancer rates are the same in circumcising and non-circumcising countries.

@LavenderSylk, you may have a point, but the female foreskin (clitoral hood and inner labia) don't receive penetration, and it collects fluids no less than the male foreskin. People should of course wash before and after sex. Cleanliness is a personal choice. Both circ'd and uncirc'd men, and women, should respect hygiene. But of course you are entitled to your preference (if supported by experience).
What I do say is that circumcision should not be forced on minors - my body means my choice!

Now of course thousands of years ago, I am sure that there were many cases of child death due to circumcision, but you have to understand people back then didn't even know bathing was a health benefit. The Australian AFAO (a branch of Australian Public Health) stated in 2007: "Circumcision has no part in the Australian HIV epidemic".
Despite 30 years of HIV pandemic, there's NO good evidence from any developed nation that HIV infects uncircumcised men more than circ'd men. And in Africa there's much inconsistency.

The 2003 Nationwide Hospital Discharge Survey showed a circumcision rate of just barely 60% in 2003. As for the higher prevalence of AIDS that could be due to any number of outside forces such as the rate of homosexual sex and needle sharing among drug users. As for your one study I have no idea what the cause is but do not assume this defeats all the other studies.

There is no debate (except among the uneducated) as to whether or not circumcision prevents the spread of AIDS. This was proven back in the 80's when two studies clearly demonstrated that circumcision among heterosexual men reduced the spread of HIV by at least 55%. Do some research and educate yourself because every time I watch on of your videos I get dumber.

In heterosexual men circumcision stops the spread of AIDS by as much as 60%. That' s not denial you stupid fuck, that's empirical data. @captwasabi If circumcision "stops the spread of AIDS" why does America, a nation that circumcises, have a higher AIDS rate then Europe were they don't circumcise? It is an empirical fact that CONDOMS prevent the spread of STDs not circumcision. I would venture to guess that you are circumcised. You are angry & frustrated at what was done to you. I'm not to blame if you are too ignorant to read them for yourself. As for the difference between the US and Europe one would have to first examine the behaviors of heterosexual males and look for other risk factors. What's the prevalence of needle sharing in the US compared to the EU? Try thinking PAST your nose.

Is the picture starting to come into focus yet? As I've said, just because you're too ignorant to do the research yourself does not mean the data is not out there.

@captwasabi Obviously you have an agenda. You can circumcise every man on earth and they would still have to wear condoms to prevent AIDS. Circumcision in the US is a human rights violation. It is an unnecessary surgery perpetrated on a non consenting human being. It is unethical and harmful.
It is a well known fact that the abused become the abusers. They want to understand their own trauma by traumatizing others. Given you rabid and sophomoric responses you are a victim of what you support.

@captwasabi you clearly have personal, cultural bias. Most of the world's pop. is uncircumcised. The fact that routine circumcision in Europe and most nations is rare (except Jews/Muslims), and there is no medical society promoting circumcision (the Dutch medical assoc. actually strongly opposes it), is evidence your health benefit claims are bogus. We should know in Europe, because we are NOT circumcised!
No health insurance company is interested whether its male clients are circ'd or not.

Specifically, the WHO's recommendation targets "Countries with high rates of heterosexual HIV infection and low male circumcision rates" (I quote the WHO!) - these two criteria clearly do not target the USA (or other developed nation). Furthermore, NO MEDICAL SOCIETY recommends routine circumcision for prophylaxis. Alleged health benefits are NOT found to outweigh risk of harm.

The WHO recommendation, while stating specific criteria, does not limit itself to just a single geographic region. As such their recommendation can be applied globally you ignorant troll. As for disease prevention, HIV is a disease so it would seem that at least one medical society recommends circumcision as a preventative measure to prevent disease.

No medical society or organisation recommends routine circumcision. No American medical body recommends routine circumcision for prophylaxis or for any reason, or expresses the view that any alleged medical benefits outweigh the risk of harm or complications from the procedure.

@captwasabi, there aren't the "facts" you claim, and most medical bodies don't believe your claims to be factual, or that there is net medical benefit. Actually, I have no objection to circumcision, PROVIDED the owner of the body gives informed consent. The main concern is ETHICS. It is unethical to subject minors to unnecessary surgery (which has risks). Foreskin is richly innervated tissue. Unnecessary, Irreversible surgery is a decision for the owner of the penis alone. Condoms protect.
