I'm a USC alum, and this is some truly hilarious shit. Don't sweat the Trojans who check out this clip and post whiny comments. We tend to take ourselves WAY too seriously sometimes.
Lol this is soooooo great.. i think i almost died from cracking up when i was at that game. we also beat the shit out of san jose state because of toby gerhart that game. watch out for him this season >:D

Oh look, it's the suckiest band on the West Coast. Actually, I think that's a little understated. The suckiest college band in the country is probably closer.
this whole halftime show was a whole joke b/c the band was making its re-debut after being suspended for an entire year. the band doesn't normally suck this bad. if you ask any NORMAL person, they will all say that the stanford band is one of the top 3 most entertaining in the country
dude, first of all, that is all wrong. u must not be a musician. and second of all, whats ur damn problem? first you comment on my video saying how bad stanford is when ur just jealous that we have the axe, then after i pwned you with stanford-level intelligence, you go on every stanford-related video to put Cal crap on them. you are very ignorant because everything you say is incorrect. if you hate stanford so much dont watch stanford videos and DEFINETLY dont comment on them bc nobody likes u.
you are dumb they are making fun of every other band that marches like you Kal and your stupid band. You think you are better than Stanford but will never reach their level
Don't get me wrong, I love LSJUMB and think this show's hilarious, but I must come to the defense of my brethren in the UC system:
While the Cal Band isn't as wild as Stanford's, compared to most college bands (which are rarely student run like both stanford and cal), they are quite unique and exciting. yes, they did high-step which was prbly a dig at cal , but most of the jokes we're directed at the avg boring roll-stepping non-student-run Marching (Insert lame mascot here)s, which cal isnt.
Yeah, that's what I meant. So Cal schools like stealing Nor Cal fight songs. (How about the Big C and Sons of Westwood?) Time for a little pay back!
I was afraid USC would drive the ball down the field and win. Like the Notre Dame game in 2005. Or Washington in 2000. Or 1969 (long before my time), when USC kicked a field goal to win it on the last play.
Anyway, good to have an enjoyable football team again! Hail Harbaugh!
The band was forbidden from traveling from winter 03/04 until fall 2005 after a messy bus ride home from Los Angeles. Following that, there was the drunk tree incident, followed by the Women's NCAA tournament incident. Finally, the nail in the coffin was a ban on almost everything band related starting July 06 following reportedly $50K in property damage. The suspension was lifted before the beginning of the 07-08 academic school year, so the band can travel again (under supervision).
Hope you do the nazi salute too ... its amazing that people think you and your anti-semetic antics are cute in Palo Alto. I thought you all were educated.
not to be ruin your point...ok i will...What band currently plays stanford's fight song? oh yeah u$c...so play what ever you want LSJUMB!!!
oh and the "nazi salute" was originally a roman greeting of respect. and maybe if u stopped acting like nazis at u$c than maybe we wouldnt have to remind you
I think you mean to say the Stanford Band played "Tribute to Troy" after USC turnovers.
The end of the game was amazing. The entire coliseum just knew that USC would take the ball up the field and nail a field goal to win. But when Stanford got that last interception, the life was sucked out of 85000 USC fans. The coliseum just went silent.
And over the the top of that silence came the sound of the Stanford Band, playing "Tribute to Troy." Slowly. Mournfully. It was beautiful.
I'm a Cal fan, but playing Tribute to Troy slowly and mournfully sounds so hilarious. I enjoy having Stanfurd as a rival, but I think I enjoy hating U$C more.
BEST THING EVER!!!!!!! Go Cardinal!!!

Stanford Band is a complete joke. They aren't very good. Too much percussion.
I saw a few LSJUMB members walking around before the Big Game a few years ago and they were complete dorks.
They made Bill Gates look like a hipster.
Go Bears. Fuck Stanfurd.

1) "its" should be "it's" with an apostrophe
2) "anti-semetic" should be "anti-semitic" FAIL
that's education for you, thanks.
...and you call yourself educated?
and FYI, Stanford University is in the city of Stanford, CA, not Palo Alto.
DDRfreak055 2 years ago
@DDRfreak055 Actually, Stanford, CA isn't a city. Just a census-designated place.
