If you read all of the of the lyrics to the song its about we think we don't need God until we realize how much he means to us. it goes from "aren't we worthy worthy of hearts at our feet." to "are we worthy worthy of hearts at our feet." I think it means that we think we are as worthy as god then going from that perspective to are we worthy in his eyes not man's.
