Hmmmmm.....Atlanta not in the playoffs? The Hawks play the Mavericks, Nets, Suns, Celtics, and the Pistons in their first 5 regular season games. Most experts have them at 0-5 and aren't expected to beat any of these teams. When the Hawks knock off the Celtics for their 5th win of the year and beat all these teams to start the season, the NBA and the country will know who the Hawks are. 5-0!!!

How about some assists? WHAT? Joe Johnson is WIDELY known for being a great passer, he averages over 4 for his career and has averaged over 5 in Atlanta, and he averaged 6.5 assists in his first season in ATL. Learn before you speak, you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

He even plays PG sometimes because he's such a great ballhandler/passer. He's EASILY a top 5 passing SG in the league. EASILY.

Chris Paul would have been a better draft pick up than Marvin Williams...but Paul wouldn't have made the Hawks better in 05-06...the Hawks problems comes from poor coaching, weak interior defense, and inexperience...Paul has a mentor in Byron Scott that was a championship winning guard...No one on the Hawks coaching staff can develop a PG.
