@aerotoxicosis Read the history on the Great Patriotic War and you'll know why theres bitterness about Germany. The USSR lost nearly 30 million of her people to Nazi Germany in World War II, thats something you tend to remember.

Btw-the Russians"saved" Europe from the Nazis but only together with the Americans and the British. They then enslaved half of Europe for around 50 years..... Nevertheless they still perform the best march music in the World!

but don't forget, Russia was lucky, the Japanese prefer to fight the Americans rather than the Russians so at that day Russian Red Army pulled their divisions from Siberia region (also Vladivostok) to fight in the western battlefields

Indeed! In fact, it had a real cohesion between its people and its army: everyone was working for the war front! Without our Soviet comrades, in no way would have nazism and fascism be so easily defeated. Their contribution is of golden value and all those who systematically spit on the memory of the comrades of the Red Army are worthless gits. As much as those who have no respect for the troops that landed on D-Day.

A fanstastic performance! I guess that noone can compete with the Russian Army when it comes to discipline, exercise, and feeling! Beeing a swede, I always feared the russians. But with this video I almost (?) would have like their boots marcing on the Stockholm streets.... (joking :-) ) . But the feeling is great, you can really feel the intense from the greatest singers in the world with the best marching bands.

there is nothing to be proud of, the russians never faced a real enemy the germans and napoleon lost because they had much smaller armies and much smaller peoples. in ww2 there were about 500 mio. allies against 150 million axis cheap victory.

Why would say such a thing? This victory is cherished by all sides of the Allied forces. Be it Soviet, American, French, or British, many men and women died for this victory to happen. And it is something that they are really proud about, especially in the former USSR, where they faced the horrors of war. You seem to complain that we won.Who are you, a Nazi sympathizer?

Well it does not matter if there is a difference to the number of forces in either side, it's war. Hitler pursued dangerous and ambitious opportunities to conquer the lands of Europe proper and Russia. It doesn't make sense to say that there is nothing to be proud of as it is obvious that many people made horrible sacrifices just to fight for liberation. If that's how you put it, it should be considered as an insult to the faces of the millions who died and the veteran who survived.
