I thought facebook or only school profile and transcripts were the only ways to show ourselves. But now I know me 2.0 contributes a lot to showing my own self. It may seem marginal to worry about, but as we learned in the session, this is something that will hugely impact us in the future employment.

Before watching this video, I thought that the only thing that can express myself is academic career such as college, SAT scores, TOEFL scores etc. However, after watching it I realized that there are so many ways to display myself that I have never though about. Wow! I'm really amazed to know that there are many ways to show display yourself to your future employer and other people. Some include resumes, business cards, and blogs. I learned that your public image is crucial to your career as shown the four people that were shown as examples. I would want an image like Oprah Winfrey, where the mere mention of her name extracts positive feelings. I think this video will really help me create a positive online image. Thank you, Mr. Heil! :)
