@ushbag It's not really about how high your magic is, its just the combo of ring of magical sharpness and clever rats ring ( he is at under 30% when doing the bosses) + kris blade which makes his spells so powerfull. Change kris blade by morion blade while being under 30% and you can one hit EVERY boss in the game with either homing soul arrow or flamestorm . even if your magic is only like 25-30

@karagz it is homing soul arrow, and you get it by saving sage freke in the first tower of latria level and then trading the yellow demon's soul to get the spell. it is very powerful, but it uses quite a bit of mp. hope this helped :D

You're right about both...In his left-hand, he's using the Kris Blade which increases magic power but lowers magic defence. For rings, he's using the clever rats ring which increase attack power when you're dying(less than 30% health). Without those, I'm sure it would taken 4 or 5 casts of HSA.

@OrangeNincha Yes, Flamelurker is vulnerable to magic. In his earlier video, he put most of his souls in magic and intelligence. Mix that with Homing Soul Arrows and that's where the 2 shot kill comes from. I think 5 little arrows shoot out from HSA so it's more like 10 instead of 2 but, yeah, hope that answers your question.
