OK I LOVE LINUX, and mac, but I am a windows user. Legit windows user. Now to be honest I was going to buy a Mac (but I just can't afford one), and as for Linux, I couldn't get Ubuntu to run on my system (major graphics issues). So that I think gives my reasons for Windows. It's the easiest option.
I'd still love a mac though! But all the time I can give Win half the great features of OSX or Beryl then I'm a lil happier!

I did that on my XP, although mine runs faster, I am stuck in a situation were I am unable to get linux, otherwise I see no reason in doing this though. :)

Well, I can't test many since, for whatever reason, my computer hates Linux. DSL doesn't, I know that much. I believe Knoppix, in general, also doesn't. I'd like to try Ubuntu, but it won't load on my PC. As well as Sabayon.
Linux "isn't actually available"? What does that mean? It's completely free and all you have to do is go to the website for the distro you want. Use Google if you don't know. And as for the router, you're making that up.
Most people don't understand how to partition room safely and/or don't want to risk it. That's what I mean. I also mean for people at work using Windows, or, for whatever reason, their hardware prevents Linux from working for them (in my case).
Dude, how can I be making it up that my router doesn't work? In every distro I've been able to try, either on VM Ware or Live CD, my router wasn't detected and wouldn't turn on. I went into the terminal to try and fix it with similar router congfigs, no change. So even if it does work on a few distros, it may not work in the ones that I want it to.

Well, the only problem with this cube effect is that it is not REALLY composited, it just takes images and puts it in a fullscreen GL application. This was already possible in the past.. for example in linux with Desk3D, which is a project that started in 2002.

It's an okay program (Yod'm 3D). It's very fast and sits at rest at about 1-2 MB of RAM, only going up to 10 MB of RAM when you activate it.

Well, I can't test many since, for whatever reason, my computer hates Linux. DSL doesn't, I know that much. I believe Knoppix, in general, also doesn't. I'd like to try Ubuntu, but it won't load on my PC. As well as Sabayon.

Linux "isn't actually available"? What does that mean? It's completely free and all you have to do is go to the website for the distro you want. Use Google if you don't know. And as for the router, you're making that up.

Most people don't understand how to partition room safely and/or don't want to risk it. That's what I mean. I also mean for people at work using Windows, or, for whatever reason, their hardware prevents Linux from working for them (in my case).

Dude, how can I be making it up that my router doesn't work? In every distro I've been able to try, either on VM Ware or Live CD, my router wasn't detected and wouldn't turn on. I went into the terminal to try and fix it with similar router congfigs, no change. So even if it does work on a few distros, it may not work in the ones that I want it to.

Easy with the over exageterated comments there skippy. My quartz composer ass rapes Beryl. It does to OpenGL what nothing else can. Unequaled by any competitor you say? You haven't use OSX. Well, the only problem with this cube effect is that it is not REALLY composited, it just takes images and puts it in a fullscreen GL application. This was already possible in the past.. for example in linux with Desk3D, which is a project that started in 2002.
