she's a very good singer. i prefer to think that she and barbra sing like their mother, diana. of course there will be similarities. if that has hurt her career, then so be it. still, she's talented in her own right.

I have followed Roz for many years. I once saw her performance at the Russian Tea room in the early 90's. Afterwards, we all gathered at the then "trendy" Planet Hollywood on 57th street with her brother Sheldon and all had a great time. She is just as magnificant now as she was almost 15 years ago. She does have a really great voice, but I can see why she hasn't really had that much show biz success--she sounds so much like Barbra! Not just the tone, but the phrasing too and the holding of the long notes.

if there was less echo/reverb, less vocal pushing, a little less "theatrics" in delivery and ummm, we all know it's Babs little step-sister so no need to try and imitate some of her trademark sound.. buried under all of that, there's a strong, elegant performance..
