Something tells me the lyrics that he used for this version of his song is a true story, I wouldn't be surprised if its true. The lyrics are quite powerful and it seems to be different from the original song which also has a powerful message.

Most of his music is based on his life. I saw him at his International album release concert in Toronto and he explained alot of the songs he wrote. In fact, the song Fatima is a true story- the lyrics really hit you when you know this. If you ever get a chance to see him live, it's a MUST. He is truly an artist. A real musical story teller. His band is off the hook too. I've talked to him on a few occasions and he's one of the most modest down to earth people I've ever met.
