i do this all the time in my band, its like the working mans ebow or something, and if you have strings on it, you can turn the toothbrush into a rudimentary, vibrating slide.

heres a good thing to do, snap a string take the end neer the pickup hold it over the pickup and pull, it makes a sound klike a floyd rose

try a tv remote control. point it at che pickup and hold any random button down. the infra red waves causes it to make a wkd lil noise

you dont need to break a string!

just put the remote control pointed at the pickups, just above the strings. i cant describe the noise, just try it.

he has the brush near the pick ups not on em i think that can be bad for the pick up i think if u put something but the strings on them

Only if its highly magnetic then it may mess with the pickups magnet! Most things won`t hurt it though. as long as its not hitting it!

i think its a pretty funky noise, i used to stick loads of little toys and stuff too, anda watch makes a pretty cool ticking noise:D
