Seriously, this video is much more realistic. We have sailed to the island numerous times and love it. It's beauty does not come from the booty there.

Those are porpoise. Dolphins are located in the Atlantic ocean.

Great video! One point though, the Casino on Catalina Island was never a gambling casino, it uses the word casino in the original Italian sense of meeting place, community center. Built in 1929 it was from the beginning a ballroom/cinema//etc.

1 minor correction...The Avalon Ballroom was never a "Gaming Casino" it was called the Casino because one definition of a Casino is:

A public room or building for entertainments, dancing.

Thank you!!! The sailboat we used is called a Venture 25, later named the Macgregor 25. It's a sweet boat that can fold up and slide easily on a trailer, so you can take it anywhere. I just uploaded Part 2 of the trip. I hope you dig it.
