Phoenix Suns: Exit Interviews - April 30, 2008 (Part 1 of 2)
i reckon this year , the suns are going to win the championship, but after that, they might not have a big enough chance. in 2008 offseason, they need to buy a good pg, someone like devin harris or javaris crittenton. they are young and can learn and improve. nash is getting old, but i reckon he will be good for another 2 years... but i dont think will have the depth in our roster after that coz nash and shaq r getting old.. i might be wrong, but that is my proediction... but still GO SUNS!
a degree doesnt make you smart all it says is that you spent 4 or more years to get a signed piece of paper that says you now know what you already knew b4
I meant suns. I have watched basketball a lot since the early 90's and have played basketball. Shaq has played for the magic, lakers, heat and SUNS! A simple typing error doesn't make me retarded. Far from a retard, I am a degreed professional who happens to be in school again.
After offseason work and a great training camp, he'll fit in a lot better. The Suns would be wise to keep D'Antoni until the end of his contract's expiration. It would be very difficult to find a replacement. Go suns.
If he and Steve Kerr can sit down and discuss what necessary changes will need to be made (Back up guard, acquisition of lottery picks and free agents, use of the bench, emphasis on defense) to the Suns, he can establish a possible new lineup and game plan custom to fit this team. Shaq was a huge difference to them, I did not personally expect to see him come in on the fly and do amazing things for the Suns.
Coach Mike's been great for the Suns, posting an impressive .600-something percentage. He isn't to blame for the Suns' loss. I myself am a Suns fan, and do not blame him. The Suns blew game 1 and 2, and had costly turnovers in game 5. Regarding Coach D'Antoni, the Suns need him.
dammit where is the passion. i honestly believe david stern handing the series and the championship last year had alot to do with the suns psyche this year. call me a conspiracy theorist if you wish but all sports are fixed and popobitch must know something about david stern
wannajive usually when something is fixed its benefits the fixer if there is such a word. so when you say david stern fixed the series your saying he would rather have a low market team which labeled boring in the finals than a fast pace highly marketable team which does not make any sense
the suns can win next season provided they bench grant hill (injuries), start bell at sf and barbosa at sg so they have 3 shooters (nash also) outside shaq and amare. diaw should be brought on as a 6th man for shaq when they want to run. they also need to trade for a back up point guard (trade skinner or giricek for bobby jackson?) so nash can rest and play better defense.
well they would've been eliminated even if Marion stayed man its against the Spurs they literally own the suns right now, but hopefully it changes 1 day!

Bummer. That's rough.

yes it does because it turns that low market team into a high market team

no it does not only a player can do that

i've been disappointed since 1993 Come on SUNS.~~!!

As long as the best PF ever is wearing a Spurs Jersey, the Suns will never win...
Steve Nash can't play defense, but he is a warrior. It's just too bad he had the misfortune of playing at the same time as Tim Duncan...

i agree with stonethrowingdevil but i pick the suns but then again i am disapointed!

i completely hate the suns now they had 4 chances to win and none of them worked and they did better with marion
souljasai 3 years ago
the only reason they did better with marion is because they didnt play the spurs before intill a later round!!
