i like your rendition. hey, what make/model is that red piece of shit that seasick steve plays, do you know? definitely not a fender, is it a teisco or a domino, any idea? thx
nice cover man, but to get that genuine sound from your guitar steve gets leave it out in the rain, smash it up with a 2x4 then run it over with a pick-up truck THEN repair it only using fishing line and beer tins ^_^
I love those cheesy old Japanese axes. Unique shapes and sounds and cheap enough you can smash em up on stage and have another one in your hands the next day.
ur full on amazing. but its not perfect. if u listen 2 the song after watching the video it is a bit differnt. but anyways carry on nd u will b as gd as him.
Enjoy yer childhood just now Red at 14 because you will be moving onto bigger and better things at 18 when yer an adult ;) Just remember to keep off the drink and drugs and dont forget yer youtube fans ;) keep the blues coming son !
OK, so this may have been asked... but what Tuning is that? I'm assuming DGD on the 3, from the sounds of the riffs, but i'm pretty new to strings, so I dunno. Anyway, any spaghetti and Meatballs ya can gimmie?
Just got back from a gig now played a load of delta son house kinda stuff with a bit of mcdowell in there too! Went down great...people love the old stuff but they will say they dont until they hear it...so boy you just gotta play it from the "deep mind". You play the delta strings boy?
well its a good question, but now anything that anybody dose will have been done before in the music world! So what people should be doin' is replaying the lost blues of the days of years ago, so about the 1901 - 1959 blues. this is currently what i am doin', should be some videos soon!
Thats a good take of Dog House Boogie. Although sometimes you didn't quite touch the full 12th fret on the slide. Good try though, as slide is hard to master completely!
Wow I'm a fan of mr seasick steve myself and you seem to have it down to an art there!, The box was the killer for me though i was totally sold after i saw that box!
Axe you are a total star really brilliant i only discover sea sick steve last night but have been wating him on here all morning R U in the UK or USA.. i am in London in UK if you are here then i want you as session musician on my indie/rock project i did a kinda blues beefheart thing on my space last year check it out it is codfacereplicants let me know what u fink. my new songs are more like sufjan stevens tho'
That guitar is a 1963 Teisco Starway which has been put through a hell of a life, its been turned into a bass, its been painted, its had bits copped off it and even bits added to it.
good work.i was impressed with s.s steve and good to see you playing.what strings are used for the 3 string trance wonder ?is it e ,a and b?i would be grateful for the answer.again nice job.
Did you play with 3 strings or 6 ?Looks like 3 , damn fine job , :D

ultrakool 2 years ago
it's a teisco hollowbody thats had its pickups removed then a dearmond harmony gold foil taped on.
lagman50 2 years ago
interesting. so what about that brown acoustic he plays? looks like a martin 12 fret, am i right?
ultrakool 2 years ago
No it's an old harmony acoustic. guitars similar to it only cost around 100-250 $ or Pounds
lagman50 2 years ago
hmmmn, lable chic and craftsmanship being blown to hell by an ex-bum. lol
ultrakool 2 years ago
to be more specific, it's a kent americana (i've recently found out)
ultrakool 2 years ago
@ultrakool, it is a trance wonder. pretty hard to find surprisingly enough. it is supposed to be a copy of a fender coronado semi-hollow guitar.
