The downgrade patch acutally works even if it shows an error.... You just have to keep clicking next and click on that error to make it go away... it just needs some 6 or 5 times and the downgrade is done....

an alternative to using downgraders patch it to replace the v2 gta_sa.exe with a v1 gta_sa.exe it gets cleo working so it must work for that
