  • i just got a symphony 1.4 and its a power kite and im new to this but ive seen vids where ppl fly like 5 meters high. will it lift me? i bought cause the guy says its the perfect size for my weight , just wondering, and if it has to lift me how many mph does it have to be (im 130 lbs) thx

  • Ehhh not really...Mostly you can't jump with anything under 4m..Well you CAN but the landing will be VERY hard because you won't have much of a parachuting effect..It is a god learning kite though

  • The symphony 1.4 won't lift you but you will have alot of fun with it!!

  • ok kool well i kinda got it because of the whole flying thing... idk maybe ill return it but thx for telling me i got it about a coupld days ago thx.

  • also how big of a kite should i get?

  • The Kite I'm flying is a great beginner kite. It will drag you around quite a bit. Anything bigger would be dangerous. It's also very easy to launch, land, and control. I weigh 200 lbs. and it pulls me fairly easily.

  • so this kite will definatly be fun and will pick me up ? about how high lols cause im crazy, and i said i weigh about 130 so it will be realy good or what?

  • @labuican The shape is a big factor too

  • i have the 3.6m it is sweet great for beginners and intermediate

  • I am getting beamer3 7m, could be too big for beginner?

  • i'm 200 lb and just bought my 1st kite 3m beamerd.... i'd say it's enough for begginer!

  • Although its probably too late, unless youre very heavy then YES

    Dont underestimate traction kites :P

  • im 86 lbl and im getting a 2.0 can it lift me?

  • Is it a Beamer? Beamers arent very lifty kites but 2m is good starting kight for your weight.

Dont worry about lift in your first kite, any kite can get lift if you can fly them good.

So yeah you can get lift..

  • im going to get a 2.6m rush is will that be good?

  • Its ok, but the Beamer is the ultimate learner/beginner kite, so I would recomend a 2m or 3m Beamer depending on how windy it usually is where youre about to fly, is it close to the sea or ?

  • i live in tn....in the valley

  • Well if its always very windy get a 2m if theres hardly ever any wind get a 3m

  • WAYYY to big..A 3m would be good

  • cant you read it sez a 3.0 kite

  • I've got a 3m Beamer III as well, they are great first kites and very easy to fly!

  • Thinking about getting this as first kite.

  • he he :D I love that kite :D its very easy to handle :D

  • Amazing footage of the guy flying that kite! I would love to meet that guy!
