@FlutenSang I've seen one of those generic cheapo lutes at a renaissance fair. It looked like it could be made into a playable instrument with a bit of work. Otherwise they are just firewood.

I've always loved folk metal covers with instruments like this, because it shows how musically talented metal musicians are aside from just being aggressive or brutal. If you played some stupid hardcore/screamo song on the lute and it would just sound like utter garbage
