Using the vapor/ember board for this mod makes perfect sense, because the aileron (right stick for mode 2) will be the input for the rudder, like it is on all 3ch models. However, you also said that using an AR6400 could also work. Wouldn't that result in having to use the left stick for rudder and throttle, and right for elevator? The inputs wouldn't be the same as the vapor/ember board.

No as the electronics in the Mini-Super Cub are significantly different. You can make this mod but you'll need different components to do so.

Really? I thought that perhaps only the ESC would have been too small. Probably not worth the conversion if I need to buy separate servos, receiver and ESC!

No, I want all my planes one radio and all my cars on another. For my surface vehicles 9-times out of 10 I use the DX3R. Otherwise I use my DX3S.

I cant afford a DX3R, so I use my DX6i to control my cars and boat. Its kinda bad how I dont have a reverse though... but I did program a brake.
