I am just loving it. I do believe with Author Rank becoming a ranking signal for sure this is also one way to ensure everyone gets on Google plus and with Google dominating the market well hellooo this is just the best marketing and overall user enhance experience ever!!!

It's a nice implementation but I think this will lead to confusion if any other URLs used the rel as query parameters. We'll see that in time.
