Hey brother, Now your talking my favorite region of the country right here. Not far from where you where when heading north bound look to your left there is a house out there built to look like a dog. The owners are really cool the give tours (their woodworkers).
I have not been up that way in a little while now and I miss it. highway 12 east out of Lewiston is in my top 5 of favorite rides.
oh, hell yeah man, it's also one of my favorite areas. it doesn't matter to me that the hills are dry. it's still an amazing view. i do plan on stopping in that historic view marker one of these days. i've already read about the battle that took place down there. i still want to at least read about it some more and check out what i cannot see from the road. i also need to check out that house. thanks for the suggestion!
i must be crazy then, because two of my most favorite grades are in idaho, along us95, and white bird is one of them. the other is the one going into lewiston. the view from up top is fantastic.
Aww I see.. I wanna be in AZ right now its to cold here now lol..It has not snowed yet thats a good thing. The only thing I like snow for is snowmobiling and thats IT! So do you have yahoo messenger?
this year i've been there a total of 10 times. it depends on if the load i'm on is going there, or is to be dropped at the swift terminal, and rebounded by a driver who goes into canada. i used to do canada and became tired of the hassle. it's more trouble than it's worth. arizona is okay.

indeed. it took my 30mins to get up that hill. it's as if i blew out half the tank of fuel going up.

I used to drive for Swift out of the Lathrop, California terminal. I am in Lewiston now. That grade is nasty!
