This is art for the mind; technical, precise and utterly pointed towards people who have been blessed with a mind large enough to appreciate art. But this is not for everyone! Some people might even be scared of this kind of music.
Man has always and will always create Gods in their own image. It is the external personification of the excellence inside each one of us. In the vain attempt to say "God is outside me" more wars, famines and deaths have occurred than from any other thing. When we realize "God is inside me" (ie my True Self is a god) we come to a point of peace and self-reflection and better understanding.
@mopo30 Well, "Eden", "God", "Adam", "Eve", "Satan", "Abraham" never existed. These little myths never ever happened. They are not real and you are a "fool of a Took"! "Case closed".
@mopo30 The mythical figure of Jesus also said in Luke "Those who did not want bow down before me and see me as king, slay them before me!" Also said that he came not with "peace, but with a sword." The entity inside you in Holy and Perfect; however it is not from some source outside of you. So stop looking to myths and start looking inside. If you get "offended" by this, you started it by blasting me on a page for a song called "Kafir!" which in Arabic is the equivalent of "Antichrist".
@mopo30 Which raises a question: If you're some holy roller, why are you even listening to this music to begin with? Hmmm...I think somebody is lying to themselves.
@OSplendrousSerpent The moslems have a saying if mohammed wont come to the mountain let the mountain come to mohammed. So im the mountain coming to mohammed :)

i don't think people realize how big the universe is and how long it has and will exist. humans are the tiniest speck of nothing in relation to our own planet's existence, and our planet's ability to support life is nothing compared to the cosmic timeline. to believe in a religion based around the earth and human existence is selfish, laughable and downright ignorant.
kafir is an arabic word, means basically covering something up, denying of god and someone whose all conscience fittigs are invasioned by its Self... for ex Buddhists and Pagans are Kafir.
yes great song but for me definitly it will get some big reactions.

@diablozholicz hahaha I'm an atheist although I'm spiritual and I'm laughing coz the Egyptians werent muslims man!! hahaha!!! @sataniiism Meshuggah are a great band and in no way emo; industrial metal at its finest. And Nile are also a ridiculously good band. Learn to embrace all the different types of metal, friend. \m/
@MrXionarc Alright, let's do some time-lapsing! Egypt was once under the sway of Egyptian gods. Now what is Egypt under the sway of? Don't think too hard, you might burst a blood vessel. Karl said they wanted to go a "modern" route with this album. He intentionally spoke on topics that relate to the current religion of Egypt (Islam). Any fact checking (ie, two minutes on Google) would have shown you this. But it's ok, you're just too much of an idiot to DO said fact-checking. Now be gone!
@OSplendrousSerpent I didnt know about the Modern Route thing man ...frankly I dont care......You guys who listen to this music should really take a step back and analyze what you're listening to. Anyways choice of music is an opinion and I'm not here to push mine onto someone else...I'm gone hehe ...happy listening ^_^
true that brother, after all music is just a form of entertainment, people who acts or think seriously to musics like this should just chill and get a fucking life, lol.
I live in south africa, and here "kafir" means something totally different. It's a racial thing, sort of like "nigger", but here people never use it in hip or shit like that, it's hectic taboo and one of the frowned upon words ever. It's interesting how it means something else in other cultures. It's also funny because black people NEVER use it, insomuch as black americans use nigger.
@InCircle9 yes it does, but the dutch settlers used it as a racial slur in south africa and over the years it's what it means now, but only in south africa
@NecroDhalia You have no fucking right to disrespect someone elses religion. This song is actually blasphemous to our religion and i am infact a muslim. So please think what you write.I still listen to metal , been listening to it for 13 years and always will.
@paddymoep I don't care what the number of the beast is, point is that number is largely considered disrespectful by fundamentalist Christians, whether they know their facts or not. He has the right to use it, but then he goes bitching about other people.
@paddymoep I used to be a Christian for many years (now atheist), and I always felt offended with people playing with the number 666, and all my friends were too. It's sort of like, even though you say the numbers wrong, they were taking my religion as a joke, or that they found evil "cool" or some shit you know. I know lots of Christians who got pissed by that number
@paddymoep Nah I'm not offended. I said he he wasn't "being too tactful himself" is all. And they used to be my friends and you don't have to be sarcastic with them if we have different opinions
@dethlok66611 bollocks, there's nothing 'blasphemous' in this, except for one line, the rest is mainstream islamic belief.. and even if it was a blasphemous song, so what, good music is good music and whatever your feelings are about the message behind this song is irrelevant and shouldn't take away from your enjoyment of the music
FALSE. If you are referring to starship Enterprise from the "Next Generation", this is set in the 24th century and there are VERY strict rules applying to time travel. They have a strict guideline known as the "temporal prime directive" that prohibits manipulating the time line and what you have suggested is a manipulation of the time line. Therefore, this scenario would NEVER take place. Before posting nerd related knowledge on metal videos, you should do more research first.

this is not hate song, and it isn't insulting or mocking anyone. so haters: shut the fuck up, don't be that shallow and stupid. this is piece of art with elements of eastern culture (like all nile). this is not anti-islam, this is about someone who rejects god. that's meaning of kafir. this could be song with church bells and called nonbeliever, but that wouldn't be nile's way. so haters, don't make this band hate band, band that sings about other cultures. you hate for yourself and shut up.
To those of you wondering, Kafir means disbeliever, not atheist. The term refers to a person who rejects God or who hides, denies, or covers the "truth". Taken directly from wikipedia.
My personal opinion on the lyrics is that these words come from the point of view a Kafir; one who hides the truth. I would have gone with munafiq(which means hypocrite) but whatever. That is, one who says ''There is no god but God'' but in his heart says ''There is no God''
do you really think we care? you mock everyone else so you deserve it too, one thing i want to take here from muslims, death sentence by stoning for muslims, so they would feel like home here, i'd love to stone rapist muslims to death.
2:48 to 3:46 The most intense breakdown ever,way better than all those stupid deathcore bands.3:46 to 4:05 is the heaviest and the most amazing thing i ever heard in the music history of all time!
Instead of speaking about stupid religions shouldn't we take care a little bit more to the fucking music because i think there's no many people that noticed that it is the most awesome song ever
@wonkuoyydobon I'm not trying to be ignorant, I was simply replying to a militant Muslim who believed that all of us here are Christian. However, evidently, most people here (and in the extreme metal scene) are non-religious.
@wonkuoyydobon youre quite the minority here then. not being rude (im all for people having different beliefs). He is right for the most part because most people here truely hate christianity
Kafir means "non-muslim". Thats so stupit. I dont believe this fuck since I was 5... I'm living in turkey, but I don't believe the "god". Because the god never existed. There is no god, right. Not only the mohammedanism, there is no the christianity or judaism.
@guitardude901 Boo!!You copied the title of Miss May I song..That showed you love metalcore stuff..BTW Deathcore>Death Metal..They have the best inhale scream plus pig squeal..BREEEE BREEE BREEE!!!
I mean i don't know but it is something that i feel Deathcore musically isn't bad but it's like oh shit i cannot explain it but when i see any clips or something like that i always fell there is no sincerity.You should feel the same thing to understand.(If there's anyone that can explain it help me)
@Sam132161 Who the fuck is Miss I May ? And Death metal >>>Deathcore... I prefer real dirty brutality and atmosphere over endless breakdowns and wannabe ''technical'' riffs.
Yeah.While Death Metal have brutality and they are honest when they do that;Deathcore do false brutality without honesty i think you know what i mean.
When you listen to this song for example,when the solo comes you feel really bring on another place you almost live what you hear and it isn't the case with Deathcore because they don't know what music sincerity is and music sincerity is the most important thing in any music
@extrememetal100 i agree, metal is a fuckin' art dude, alot of people, usually those who can't listen past the distortion and shit, say this isn't music, but this is master caliber musicianship, very complex riff patterns and time signatures, it's like wagner with eastern scales going at light-speeds. true talent, something i can apreciate regardless of genre, though i, being a metalhead, have a bias tendency for the more extreme, then again, why else even be on this right. metal up your ass!
Anti-islam anti-christian, no shit anymore. Only pure ancient! Hail Ancient Mesopotamia! Hail Ancient Assyria! Hail Ancient Babylon! Hail Ancient Hellas! Hail Ancient Egypt!
Why problem with religion? I'm honestly christian, however I listen to this music because i like it. I don't believe in Egyptian Gods, so I shouldn't hear this song? Religion is religion, music is music. Sometimes music and religion meet themselves, but not in this case (for me)

Thumbs up if you agree

Sam132161 3 months ago
@Sam132161
It is a matter of taste plus Deathcore isn't honest
extrememetal100 3 months ago
@extrememetal100 What do u mean Deathcore isn't honest??
Sam132161 3 months ago
@Sam132161
I mean i don't know but it is something that i feel Deathcore musically isn't bad but it's like oh shit i cannot explain it but when i see any clips or something like that i always fell there is no sincerity.You should feel the same thing to understand.(If there's anyone that can explain it help me)
extrememetal100 3 months ago
@Sam132161 Who the fuck is Miss I May ? And Death metal >>>Deathcore... I prefer real dirty brutality and atmosphere over endless breakdowns and wannabe ''technical'' riffs.
guitardude901 3 months ago
@guitardude901
PS:Excuse my for my shitty english
extrememetal100 3 months ago
@extrememetal100 i agree, metal is a fuckin' art dude, alot of people, usually those who can't listen past the distortion and shit, say this isn't music, but this is master caliber musicianship, very complex riff patterns and time signatures, it's like wagner with eastern scales going at light-speeds. true talent, something i can apreciate regardless of genre, though i, being a metalhead, have a bias tendency for the more extreme, then again, why else even be on this right. metal up your ass!
TheMetalscholar 3 months ago
@extrememetal100 Exactly, most deathcore band are doing ''plastic'' or ''fake'' brutality. it doesnt as natural as death metal
guitardude901 3 months ago
@guitardude901
Yeah that's almost what i mean

Why problem with religion? I'm honestly christian, however I listen to this music because i like it. I don't believe in Egyptian Gods, so I shouldn't hear this song? Religion is religion, music is music. Sometimes music and religion meet themselves, but not in this case (for me)
