OMG! Thanks for taking me back to the old Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, circa 1960's, where DC and the Hot Nuts traveled with the girl group "the Cherries!" Got grounded everytime I went and it was worth it. "See that girl dressed in green..." and "Nuts, hot nuts...you get 'em from the peanut man, yeah yeah..." GREAT POST!

@sfratpack Nice find! My Nuts To You LP was pretty played out when I got it. The sound isn't very strong (if that makes sense.) I'm not sure if mine is just worn down or if all the records were like that, but it's a great album nonetheless. Love album cover too with Prince giving the finger! Priceless!

Doug Clark & the Hot Nuts released a string of frat rock albums chock-full of naughty novelty numbers. I'm sure they were capable of handling serious material but they seemed quite content to base their reputation on dirty ditties like this one.

I first heard this when I was a teenager and had to have it. They wouldn't sell it to me at Stewart's Record Shop in Norfolk, Va , so I did the next best thing... I Mail Ordered it!!! Heh-Heh-Heh

Where did you upload it? I've been looking for their stuff for years. My dad had the Panty Raid album and On Campus album.

I own the original 45 and had it professionally transferred to CD for upload here. From what I've read the album version of this song is considerably different.
