  • The music isn't sad enough, instead quiet funny.

  • The artists that draw the extra graphics for the FM Towns Beast games really needed to work on their style.

  • 3:10

    HAUSHUASHUAHSUHAUSH

  • Better sprites, animation and colors than Amiga original but worse scrolling and music.

It seems also easier to play.

  • Wow, of all the myriad ports made of this game, this is by far the best. The team who ported this actually went all out and made this an actual game with a fair difficulty curve (more max health). And the extra detail/animation for the enemies are amazing. Too bad it was only available in Japan :-(

  • this game sucks, but thanks for the video. it's always cool to see games from less sold videogames

  • @VovoKrall

It was critically lauded (except for the difficulty) and was a hit. It inspired like half of the games to come out on the Amiga. It has so many crappy knock offs

admittedly though, this version isn't that great

  • Wow they give you 24 health here? You get 12 in the sega version

  • I personally prefer the MD-Genesis version. maybe cause it's faster (and MORE difficult due to this)than all the other versions, and the music being at a much faster tempo and rithm, sounds more tribal in it...but that's just me, tho!

  • You are right, that's just you

  • クソゲーだけど音楽は良かった

  • this version is great i like, commodore Amiga is just perfect and special for me.

  • Interesting, all these years and I never knew SOTB was ported to the FM Towns. What's the best version of this - Amiga, PC Engine, Megadrive/Genesis or FM Towns?

  • For me, Amiga version is still the best on many points :)

  • ive never played amiga version, this marty version is the best ive seen, it is running on a 32bit system dont forget

  • Well Amiga was based on 68000 processor which is a 16/32bits. The music sounds better on the FM Towns as it is from Audio CD however, I'm probably a too much "A500 owner nostalgia" but I prefer graphics and musics from the Amiga. For me, the graphics on the FM Towns are a bit too "cartoonish".

  • @Kahrok

the marty version is cartoony, its what you prefer i guess, anyway good game

  • Well the game remain the same, excellent however my preference is for the Amiga. FMTowns was an impressive machine at the time but too much expensive, mainly due to the import :(

  • LOL I was going to post "you suck" but then I saw your comment, hahaha! But nice upload.

  • ;) oh how we loved it.

  • some nice parallax scrolling there, the kids go wtf is he on about ;)

  • lol I know exactly what you're on about :)

  • cool music :) on what console is this??

  • fujitsu fm towns marty

  • the most close version to Amiga is the Megadrive version. I think.

    Great Video !

  • i think it's the same version as the PC engine has !

  • ive added my vid of the pc engine duo version above, quite a few differences, thanks for commenting, cheers
