I'd personally say that the music was intense and "corny" instead. I mean, you're racing in ordinary places (such as Canada, Mexico, Finland, Egypt, and China to name a few) in a transforming robotic animal/car hybrid, all while trying to rack up stars by doing things like performing tricks, swinging off of bars, hitting baseballs with a bat, throwing pies at clowns' faces, rail grinding, and playing the tambourine to name a few. With that in mind, I think that the music in this game fits well.
