And I thought a had loads of supplements but you proved me wrong! haha
I use a protein powder karbolyn (when I can afford it), omega blue, multi vitamins, and glutamine
and sometimes creatine not really.
But dude really good job on the muscle cook book. Everytime I make something for myself everyone in the house will want me to make them some (and their not even into fitness).
@musclecook: Wow didnt realise that the artcile was that old. I will look up blue star for multivits and cod oil then because it is hard getting good ones here in the uk. Dont worry i will always be sticking by that nutritional value since i read it :)
wow thats a lot of supplements, not a fan of supplements but i have a small cabinet with Organic Brewer's Yeast, Organic Non-GMO Lecithin Granules, Organic Rose Hips, Insitol, Organic Grass-Fed Free Range Whey Powder (not concen or iso), Hemp Protein, and Organic Royal Jelly with Panax Ginseng and Bee Pollen. nothing but natural stuff thats not made in a "lab" for me :)
@guccigirl8510 impotence is linked with animal product consumption baby.if you eat very few calories i agree but there are many vegans who have had a baby.press Unassisted Childbirth takes 1 Hour and 17 Minutes .all carnists ask help from vegans in the end because they have abused so much all their body and cholesterol has clogged up their arteries and their penis cant get up...end of story
@coldfusionIce Remember, I only use the basics... then when I need to supplement my diet I use them (protein, greens, Fish oils, vit/min)... all the pre-workout stuff last me forever as I don't use it all the time..
@Sicta: Also, I'm talking about ProGrade at 14:30. I still use their products but I'm a bluestar fan :) The report you're talking about has been written 3 years ago and although the info is still valid, the brands I use might have changed...
Remember, these are supplements, they are what they are and are completely optional... sometimes they can be convenient and give you a little edge considering that your nutrition and training is good.
Sicsta, nope it's the same info I'm giving: I'm recommending a good protein powder (I use BlueStar but you can use whatever you want, make sure it has minimum 25g protein per scoop and less than 2g of carbs and fats), glutamine and creatine (basic form, whatever brand), a good fish oil, a good multi vit. You can add some greens supp if you need it... All the rest is VERY optional.
Find it bit contradicting how in your 'ugly truth about supplement' article you said you only need 5 (creatine,Whey, Glutamine, Multivits & fish oil - which i am sure you didnt have the prograde brand you were pluggin) and you had all those others. I would like to thank you though coz i didnt know what was the point of BCAA's and all though i am still sticking by article you have sum good brands gave me bit more knowledge on products. Cheers dude
@ellankih top brand creatine is called creapure and can be bought at £10 which is a 2 month supply a to z vits are cheap like £4 for 60 caps fish oil is cheaper and can be found in most supermarkets. you can buy isolate which higher quality £55 for 5kg or good concentrate for 9kg for £65 non flavored
Great video after a long time Dave. Man I wish I born in USA. Damn the best supplements here in UK are expensive. I bought 5Kg of Optimum Nutrition for £80 ($160, I think). Thats very expensive to normal guys like me. Well other stuff like creatine, vitmains, fish oils cost me another £50. ($100). All these last for me about a month or month and half. BTW you got great stuff mate.
how much did they pay you ? :P
