you dont need to use the clutch when shifting, and it doesnt kill your gearbox because its a constant mesh (on most mx bikes) so all the gears are already engaged, but not locked in.

so by pulling the clutch, your just disconnecting the engine for no reason.

4. When you got your bike going and you hear the engine getting really loud. Release the gas pull the clutch and shit up. and release and give it gas.

4. How to use a clutch on a "Dirt Bike: Make sure its in natural.

Pull the clutch in and shift down into first.

When you pull away let the clutch out slowly and a little bit of GAS. When you have pulled away on a "Dirt Bike" you don't need to use the clutch at all to change gear just shift.

Pull the clutch in when you're going to stop and then add the brakes.
