i installed wax and format factory to convert the files to avi

i tried may times to use the software but i couldnt open the avi file with wax. every time an error message "no file i/o filter was able to load the given file(s).

pls help me to sort it out

If somebody is having problems getting sound in Wax, then try making a new file, when the projekt settings pop up then change the output frames to 0 to 1000 then it should work.

@TheOtherGuy122 You can actually use Windows Movie Maker. Just put each picture in individually and make them as short as possible (I think it can go down to .2 seconds, which is really short). Just remember that to get them that small, zoom in as much as possible on the timeline.

@JonLajoieFan25 Happens, the sound will still render on the video. Try converting you videos to wav and using that instead of using the sound that opens with the clip.

make sure you check out my video I will be uploading a tutorial on how to do the things in the video soon. Wax 2.0 is awesome!

and axhensem, make sure that you don't try to render the video over a previously created one, I had that problem when I was a newbie aswell! and make sure the resolution of the output video is the same as your main input video. Also try whynotchaos's method - that worked for me once to!

Ans deedeesnicks, you don't have to worry about that window unless you have windows XP and virtualDUB installed, otherwise dont worry about it and its fine to quit without changing any of the default settings.

In your settings make sure to add ".avi" at the end of your file name. It worked for me. This solves the rendering problem.
