Ca m'a étonné un truc de dingue, le son est bcp trop propre, on reconnais le Mister Lee Scratch Perry, des echos de partout en live, trop bien gêré, et ca voix n'en devient pas décalée en live lol. Justement, un des meilleurs concerts de reggae que j'ai vu ds ma vie au niveau technique ^^ Je vous le conseille.

the mix is wrong, in a dub mix the bass must be much more "in your face" and not in the background like the engineer did here.....

His "proper" band are fantastic (more of a a loose rosta I think tho) - I've done some work with them. They know the music in their souls, not like this bunch of session players. Lee is always great anyway, so it's easy enough not to pay too much attention to the musicians here.

Check out a book "The Rastafarians" by Leonard E Barrett for the basic history. Rasta is a culture and state of mind. Not neccesarily just a religion and or lifestyle.

Dub is a weapon is cool-people need to realize color does not make a musician know how to play riddims-it's having the vibe and the soul-i have been playing reggae guitar for many years and it is listening and playing that has helped me to play the music although i am not from Jamaica

I saw this tour in Philadelphia.2007.The lady playing the sax is super talented and conga player was also a nice compliment to the band.I shook Mr.Perry's hand which to me was a highlight.I've been listening to Mr.Perry since 1986.Some fav's for which I suggest to anyone who is just getting into him.Super Ape,Scratch Attack the Blackboard Jungle collection.
