@desertfox1792 That's not any different in any other martial art or sports that require fast movements. This gets developed with practice. Say, if you, an untrained man, try to punch a trained boxer, you will fail pretty much every time.
@desertfox1792 you dont think. you basically just monitor your opponent and respond to what he does. the punches or kicks, hold or chokes will basically do them selves as a matter or reflex over time.
the primary principal of systema is relaxation and controlled breathing technique.. this keeps your emotional mind in control and stops your from panicing. To panic or to become aggresive is to loose control and when you loose control you loose the connection with your opponent
@desertfox1792 affirmative.. think of it as using the opponents movement or motion against him. so instead of just blocking a punch, which just absorbs the power you deflect this energy so it causes him to loose balance and give you the initiative to counter attack.. another thing to remember with THE System is that it requires mental discipline so that your mind is not affected by fear or reluctance to move/counter, hesitation gets people killed so when you strike.. you STRIKE
@TheTechController In many ways Systema training allows you to discover your onw innate aggressive energy. With this energy under your own disiplined control you will not nessasarily need an arson of skills or techniques in order to defeat an opponent. as i mentioned, you will have the speed required to counter attack with as messy a punch or kick as possible. Disorganised aggression is what 95 percent of people will come at you with, maintain composure and u can deal with it

We have students with an FBI, police, army, Navy Seals, and even Israeli special forces backgrounds. All have a varied martial arts background. @RandomGuyThing2 Well, not as dumb as you I presume. Let me point out you are a fool, and have no clue. You do not know me or my background, and your assumption leaves you open to ridicule. "You would get fucking killed." not very likely. I'm not a demonstrator acting like an unskilled thug with a set of certain motions. I am skilled so your scenario was ill-conceived. Now, are one of the morons who believes this shit is better than "JKD", or anyother "system" for that matter? I truly hope not.
@MrFeatheredSerpent Im not saying its the best martial art Im just saying give it some credit. Sorry for my outburst, I look back and see Im a fucking dickhead. Must of been an off day.
@RandomGuyThing2 respect for that. I don't under-mind the students wanting to learn. I have been involved with these types in my days teaching and can tell you their "system" is not what it claims to be. I give credit where credit is do, and that goes to the individual willing to learn. These charlatans are taking advantage of the civilians lack of knowledge in traditional arts. All these movements are found in most arts, and the military everywhere use them in simpler forms due to real combat
@RandomGuyThing2 ...experiences. The moves I see here are too thought up, and look as if they can only work in a demo or on a thug with no real scientific fighting style. MMA is more-likely to be a better arena to learn simple forms for maximum effect. Bruce Lee tried to explain this through JKD but failed due to the ever changing methods used to execute techniques. So, learn and adapt and don't confine yourself to a certain "system" or "style". LEARN FROM ALL ARTS TO CREATE YOUR OWN SYSTEM.
@moneristov The only one wasting their time, is you learning this crap. And for you to compare a week old "art" to an art that has been around for thousands of years, and for which all military now base their combat style on, is just plain moronic. You are another low I.Q dim wit trying to sell this crap.
@mohiahmed1 OMG! NO THEY DON'T!! ISREALI'S USE KRAV MAGA. THE SAS, AND SEALS USE A VARIETY OF MARTIAL ARTS (including BJJ, Karate, and Gung Fu techniques) "SYSTEMA" IS THE SAME TYPE OF MIX (so nothing original there). All military training is mix of techniques form all styles!! Basically MMA.
@MrFeatheredSerpent You wont win this battle. These guys are brainwashed. There were a handful of Systema guys who fought in the ring..they were okay but also had a background in boxing, karate, sambo, etc. The others will always put down MMA using "we train for the street" excuse. Same excuse martial artists used for years.
@appletonredsox you know "some" of this shit. and "guarrentee" you could "probably" take me down. For one, you have already lost by assuming. second, knowing "some" of one thing does not make you anywhere near capable taking me down. and third a "guarentee" (one R btw) is not as in-decisive as "probably"...LOL MORON.
@MrFeatheredSerpent Dude I know i COULD. you've never seen this is person you wouldn't know anything about it, its the best martial arts you can learn so don't talk **** about and If you don't like it don't watch it.
@appletonredsox If you're gonna challenge a guy and ask his stats first, it's not worth the fight. Since weight classes don't matter in a real fight, you would just be wasting your time.
I do Systema, MMA, Grappling, and Kudo and have many vids on all subjects, see my Systema for MMA and Counter Takedown and neck manipulation videos. That looks like a Kudo helmet almost, in which case the punches still hurt very badly and you feel the concussive blows! Look up my vids and subscribe my page "Dan the Wolfman Systema" etc
I appreciate this video. I've seen systema for years and the demonstrations are always slow and relaxed. As a fighter I was unimpressed because I was curious how things work under stress and at a fast pace. This guy is good makes me wish I could train with him. Thanks for sharing
@smuphix If you think it's fake I recommend you to watch my videos. I and my friend practise systema whit real strikes and random hits so neither I or he knows what's coming like in real fight. And if you hesitate you get hit really hard in our training. I have even used Systema one time on the street to defend myself against 3 people unfortionatly when the first guy fall the other two run away. And so i know that this isnt fake, they train like us never knowing what attack is coming whatch 0:29
@MySilentAss lol I don't care if you believe me or not, I live in Toronto and have like 5 schools within 30 minutes of me, including the headquarters. I've been doing systema for like 4 years now.
@VonCrestain I saw your video. It was not all that great. Guys, step into a gym with real conditioned fighters. I'm talking about real boxers, muay thai fighters, mma guys, bjj guys. See if any of this works. I know some Systema guys who are tough as hell-but most cross trained in other martial arts and have military background (also competed in sambo, judo and boxing). How do people make money on systems? Seminars? Videos? DVDs? Claims of supernatural skills?
@BushidoCode72 yeah, I wasn't surprised to see the unconditioned, out of shape and awkward bodies. This "sytsema" is a mecca for charlatans...lol as is any other "system". A "system" is for the individual to create their own simple forms and techniques, through years of training and real life combat. "JKD" is a perfect example, and is tainted with controversy.
@MrFeatheredSerpent After Russia (former Soviet Uniion) legalized martial arts, there have been many people clamiing to be some secret masters in some secret martial arts that were only practice by elite spetz naz or some top secret military units. But if you talk to actual soldiers, most have trained in cambat sambo, karate kyokushinkai, kick boxing, judo, and western boxing. Now there are great MMA fighters as well. There are some legit Systema teachesr, but many phonies out there as well
@VonCrestain I recommend you watch some real MMA fights, old Vale Tudo fights, and review if any of the MMA practicioners does ANY systema techniques in those fights. Try to think critically and don't believe all the stuff that people try to sell you - exactly like systema - selling seminars, instructional videos etc. There is no easy way in fighting and self defense - only hard conditioning, real speed and power sparring and full contact competiton can prove the effectivness of any system.
@smuphix Dude, you wouldn't be able to distinguish Systema from any other martial art out there. I'm a student of Systema myself and I know how effective it is on the street.
@scarred10 no he does not know what the Attack will be! there is no rehearsal in systema! and how well would you do against a stick or knife? dead I think! this is not wrestling! you would get your ass kicked!
@MrFeatheredSerpent systema is never rehearsed! even if it is a demo what you see is real and what I see of you is fear! and where are your videos? well?
@gekiryudojo What you see of me is fear?? First of all simpleton, you can not see me (LMAO). Secondly, I have no need to promote myself. Third of all, EVERY PROMO IS REHEASRED OR MADE TO LOOK GOOD. That is the entire point of a promo...LOL
@scarred10 No Systema drill is ever run so you know what is going to happen. In Systema we get close to real combat as possible. We strike each other and perform our skills as closely to the real thing; thats why trust is important in Systema. This is real combat, proven fighting and works efficently and deadly if need be. We don't plan attacks because we are teaching our bodies and nervous system to react without needing to think while breathing and staying relaxed.
@ginjaninja1988 you are teaching yourselves responses to pissweak halfspeed attacks ,any clown could defend that. Its as far away from real combat as aikido is.Its impossible to stay this relaxed while figting nor should you try.I think your missing the point that systema contains no real sparring, the only hope for styles that dont spar is preemptive striking really hard.
@scarred10 It often looks fake because alot of Systema is subtle. Most people associate damage with a visible display of high tension, kinetic movement etc. a perfect boxer's hook to the jaw or a snap kick to the chest....while completely failing to see the precise application of violence used in Systema. True practitioners are like surgeons who know exaclty by trained instinct how to operate their opponent's body to destroy them; Systema truly is on another level. Its for warriors not fighters.
@scarred10 Yes we spar and we spar very often. Usually 3 or 4 against 1 and as close to full force as possible. You obviously know little but think you know much. Being relaxed while fighting is smart. But maybe you dont realize that I don't mean lazing in a deck chair relaxed; rather lack of uneeded tension. Tension = getting hurt. Being relaxed allows quick and natural movement. I am a highly skilled Pistol Shooter and tension is even bad while shooting. It is not natural to be tense.
@ginjaninja1988 anbody who says they spar 3 or 4 against 1 has never sparred at all because its physically impossible.Defending against more than 1 is possible.sparring them is not.The relaxation seen in systems faked demos is a degree of relaxation not possible under real pressure. The relaxation seen in full contact combat sports is the most you can hope for. There isnt 1 systema realistic sparring vid on the entire net
@scarred10 Well I have been able to relax under pressure. And just because its not on the internet it doesn't mean that it doesn't exsist. You keep watching you videos and making your assumptions. But you will never know till you give it a try. Good day.
@ginjaninja1988 there are vids of vasily supposedly sparring but hes not,hes playing round with light conatct attacks done half speed that anybody could deal with.I presume hes supposed to a the pinnacle of systema
@scarred10 Vasilev is an amazing practitioner. Alot of what he shows is soft work (slow but not gentle). It is to teach and re educate nerves and senses. It goes hand in hand with full contact sparring and fighting; if you dont learn things slowly to begin with then going fast will confuse you and you simply won't be able to react in a natural way. As Vasilev he is former Soviet MVD Spetsnaz. He was taught Systema in the MVD and now teaches around the world. He was actually approached and
@scarred10 and threatened by the Russian Mafia for teaching Systema because they didn't want it taught to non Russians. He therefore picked up Mikhail Ryabko as a backer which he needed to stave off trouble. Mikhail taught Systema in the Soviet Military and is still a Colonel and advisor to Russian Interior Ministry on Counter Terrorist issues. He is taken very seriously. There is also the Kadochinkov crew who follow slightly different methods of training but achieve the same goal. I actually
@scarred10 have a alot of friends who do various martial arts who when I have sparred with have been stunned by the usefulness of this slower softer training (usually only after experiencing the harder lesson of what you can do as a result when used at full speed). I have used Systema in real life and when I have I have moved naturally, smoothly while relaxed calm and breathing ending situations in literally a few seconds while not having to resort to aggression like my Krav taught me.
@scarred10 and when you are tense you don't breath and when you dont breath you cant fight effectivley. It a shame that you just write Systema off. I have done kick boxing, boxing, JiuJitsu, Krav Maga, Military Combatives... and I find Systema to shit on them all. I have used Systema to defend myself and it has worked far better than any other training I have had because it is core skills built around my own natural instincts. My isntructor is a Police Officer who swears by it and we have former
@scarred10 special Forces and current special forces and military as well as experienced martial artists that swear by it also. And when I mean special forces I mean SAS. So don't waste your breath trying to convince people this is fake because it is not and it would blow your fucking mind if you gave it a try.
@scarred10 Russian army teaches Combat Sambo. Yes you are correct. However Systema was developed by the Cossaks and Slavs over the past 10 Centuries (usually as an armed method). The Soviet Military took and modified and enhanced it using study of physics and biomechanics. It was reserved for KGB, Interior Ministry Spetsnaz and other shaddy organisations of the Soviet PGovernment and Military. It was practiced by Stalins Bodyguards. Combat Sambo is a new Soviet invention, Systema dates back
@scarred10 it early Russian history. Rather than being a set of moves and techniques it is rather a philosophy of life and fighting that can be applied with practice to violent situations; similar to Israeli KAPAP. The central focus being around life rather than fighting e.g. we learn systema to remove the obsticle of violent attack so we can move on with our lives, so rather than just fighting we search for the most effective and efficent way to deal with the opponent and move on. This suits
@scarred10 the military Special Forces very well as they are not there to fight, rather they are there to achieve their objective and the enemy is an obsticle that needs to be removed quickly, ruthlesly, effectivley. Thus Systema suits SF very well. Whereas Sambo is very good for 1 v 1 or a fight which you can stop to be very involved in Systema is good for moving through or past the threat and continuing on without wasting time. It is a System that prepares you for a fight anwhere at any time
@scarred10 and thats why it relies on training the senses for natural and realxed reaction rather than asking the operator to 100% alert all of the time like Krav Maga does (it is humanly impossible and exhausting and takes concentration away from other things e.g. mission objectives. So Systema can look fake because of instead of lining up for a boxing match or doing a huge throw that demands huge tiring effort the Systema practitioner efficently destroys their opponent using what ever is
holy combos batman!

@MrFeatheredSerpent U waste your time sorry that is the truth systema is real martial art not karate becuse karate can learn every one
moneristov 4 months ago
@moneristov The only one wasting their time, is you learning this crap. And for you to compare a week old "art" to an art that has been around for thousands of years, and for which all military now base their combat style on, is just plain moronic. You are another low I.Q dim wit trying to sell this crap.

@mohiahmed1 dont forget the russian special forces
mohiahmed1 4 months ago
@mohiahmed1 OMG! NO THEY DON'T!! ISREALI'S USE KRAV MAGA. THE SAS, AND SEALS USE A VARIETY OF MARTIAL ARTS (including BJJ, Karate, and Gung Fu techniques) "SYSTEMA" IS THE SAME TYPE OF MIX (so nothing original there). All military training is mix of techniques form all styles!! Basically MMA.
MrFeatheredSerpent 4 months ago

DanTheWolfman1 5 months ago
I appreciate this video. I've seen systema for years and the demonstrations are always slow and relaxed. As a fighter I was unimpressed because I was curious how things work under stress and at a fast pace. This guy is good makes me wish I could train with him. Thanks for sharing

fake . . . lets see some systema "action" in real fights - not a "fight" between a teacher and his student . . .
smuphix 6 months ago
@smuphix If you think it's fake I recommend you to watch my videos. I and my friend practise systema whit real strikes and random hits so neither I or he knows what's coming like in real fight. And if you hesitate you get hit really hard in our training. I have even used Systema one time on the street to defend myself against 3 people unfortionatly when the first guy fall the other two run away. And so i know that this isnt fake, they train like us never knowing what attack is coming whatch 0:29
VonCrestain 6 months ago 14
@VonCrestain Is it Kadochnikov's Systema? I'm pretty confused between all Systema types and whether they differ at all.
gingijus 5 months ago
@VonCrestain I agree, a good portion of our training is done with our eyes closed so we can't prejudge what to do when attacked.

@alpha2omega09 its still gay to act cool with it, even though the sport is great.
MySilentAss 5 months ago
@VonCrestain BTW, it should read "my friend and I".
MrFeatheredSerpent 5 months ago
@VonCrestain I saw your video. It was not all that great. Guys, step into a gym with real conditioned fighters. I'm talking about real boxers, muay thai fighters, mma guys, bjj guys. See if any of this works. I know some Systema guys who are tough as hell-but most cross trained in other martial arts and have military background (also competed in sambo, judo and boxing). How do people make money on systems? Seminars? Videos? DVDs? Claims of supernatural skills?
BushidoCode72 4 months ago
@BushidoCode72 yeah, I wasn't surprised to see the unconditioned, out of shape and awkward bodies. This "sytsema" is a mecca for charlatans...lol as is any other "system". A "system" is for the individual to create their own simple forms and techniques, through years of training and real life combat. "JKD" is a perfect example, and is tainted with controversy.
MrFeatheredSerpent 4 months ago
@MrFeatheredSerpent After Russia (former Soviet Uniion) legalized martial arts, there have been many people clamiing to be some secret masters in some secret martial arts that were only practice by elite spetz naz or some top secret military units. But if you talk to actual soldiers, most have trained in cambat sambo, karate kyokushinkai, kick boxing, judo, and western boxing. Now there are great MMA fighters as well. There are some legit Systema teachesr, but many phonies out there as well
BushidoCode72 4 months ago
@BushidoCode72 I'll agree with you on that.
MrFeatheredSerpent 4 months ago
@VonCrestain I recommend you watch some real MMA fights, old Vale Tudo fights, and review if any of the MMA practicioners does ANY systema techniques in those fights. Try to think critically and don't believe all the stuff that people try to sell you - exactly like systema - selling seminars, instructional videos etc. There is no easy way in fighting and self defense - only hard conditioning, real speed and power sparring and full contact competiton can prove the effectivness of any system.

MrFeatheredSerpent 5 months ago
@scarred10 No Systema drill is ever run so you know what is going to happen. In Systema we get close to real combat as possible. We strike each other and perform our skills as closely to the real thing; thats why trust is important in Systema. This is real combat, proven fighting and works efficently and deadly if need be. We don't plan attacks because we are teaching our bodies and nervous system to react without needing to think while breathing and staying relaxed.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 you are teaching yourselves responses to pissweak halfspeed attacks ,any clown could defend that. Its as far away from real combat as aikido is.Its impossible to stay this relaxed while figting nor should you try.I think your missing the point that systema contains no real sparring, the only hope for styles that dont spar is preemptive striking really hard.
scarred10 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 Excellent told :)
VonCrestain 6 months ago
@scarred10 It often looks fake because alot of Systema is subtle. Most people associate damage with a visible display of high tension, kinetic movement etc. a perfect boxer's hook to the jaw or a snap kick to the chest....while completely failing to see the precise application of violence used in Systema. True practitioners are like surgeons who know exaclty by trained instinct how to operate their opponent's body to destroy them; Systema truly is on another level. Its for warriors not fighters.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 it looks fake becuse it is.ALL practitioners of systema are deluded if they are students or conmen and deluded if teachers.
scarred10 6 months ago
@scarred10 Yes we spar and we spar very often. Usually 3 or 4 against 1 and as close to full force as possible. You obviously know little but think you know much. Being relaxed while fighting is smart. But maybe you dont realize that I don't mean lazing in a deck chair relaxed; rather lack of uneeded tension. Tension = getting hurt. Being relaxed allows quick and natural movement. I am a highly skilled Pistol Shooter and tension is even bad while shooting. It is not natural to be tense.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 anbody who says they spar 3 or 4 against 1 has never sparred at all because its physically impossible.Defending against more than 1 is possible.sparring them is not.The relaxation seen in systems faked demos is a degree of relaxation not possible under real pressure. The relaxation seen in full contact combat sports is the most you can hope for. There isnt 1 systema realistic sparring vid on the entire net
scarred10 6 months ago
@scarred10 Well I have been able to relax under pressure. And just because its not on the internet it doesn't mean that it doesn't exsist. You keep watching you videos and making your assumptions. But you will never know till you give it a try. Good day.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 there are vids of vasily supposedly sparring but hes not,hes playing round with light conatct attacks done half speed that anybody could deal with.I presume hes supposed to a the pinnacle of systema
scarred10 6 months ago
@scarred10 Vasilev is an amazing practitioner. Alot of what he shows is soft work (slow but not gentle). It is to teach and re educate nerves and senses. It goes hand in hand with full contact sparring and fighting; if you dont learn things slowly to begin with then going fast will confuse you and you simply won't be able to react in a natural way. As Vasilev he is former Soviet MVD Spetsnaz. He was taught Systema in the MVD and now teaches around the world. He was actually approached and
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 and threatened by the Russian Mafia for teaching Systema because they didn't want it taught to non Russians. He therefore picked up Mikhail Ryabko as a backer which he needed to stave off trouble. Mikhail taught Systema in the Soviet Military and is still a Colonel and advisor to Russian Interior Ministry on Counter Terrorist issues. He is taken very seriously. There is also the Kadochinkov crew who follow slightly different methods of training but achieve the same goal. I actually
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 have a alot of friends who do various martial arts who when I have sparred with have been stunned by the usefulness of this slower softer training (usually only after experiencing the harder lesson of what you can do as a result when used at full speed). I have used Systema in real life and when I have I have moved naturally, smoothly while relaxed calm and breathing ending situations in literally a few seconds while not having to resort to aggression like my Krav taught me.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 and when you are tense you don't breath and when you dont breath you cant fight effectivley. It a shame that you just write Systema off. I have done kick boxing, boxing, JiuJitsu, Krav Maga, Military Combatives... and I find Systema to shit on them all. I have used Systema to defend myself and it has worked far better than any other training I have had because it is core skills built around my own natural instincts. My isntructor is a Police Officer who swears by it and we have former
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 special Forces and current special forces and military as well as experienced martial artists that swear by it also. And when I mean special forces I mean SAS. So don't waste your breath trying to convince people this is fake because it is not and it would blow your fucking mind if you gave it a try.
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988 Exactly! Many people that say systema is fake never even tried it. And if russian special forces use systema then it can't be fake.
VonCrestain 6 months ago
@VonCrestain what evidence is there that an special forces use it,the russian arm definitely dont, they train in combat sambo.
scarred10 6 months ago
@scarred10 Russian army teaches Combat Sambo. Yes you are correct. However Systema was developed by the Cossaks and Slavs over the past 10 Centuries (usually as an armed method). The Soviet Military took and modified and enhanced it using study of physics and biomechanics. It was reserved for KGB, Interior Ministry Spetsnaz and other shaddy organisations of the Soviet PGovernment and Military. It was practiced by Stalins Bodyguards. Combat Sambo is a new Soviet invention, Systema dates back
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 it early Russian history. Rather than being a set of moves and techniques it is rather a philosophy of life and fighting that can be applied with practice to violent situations; similar to Israeli KAPAP. The central focus being around life rather than fighting e.g. we learn systema to remove the obsticle of violent attack so we can move on with our lives, so rather than just fighting we search for the most effective and efficent way to deal with the opponent and move on. This suits
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 the military Special Forces very well as they are not there to fight, rather they are there to achieve their objective and the enemy is an obsticle that needs to be removed quickly, ruthlesly, effectivley. Thus Systema suits SF very well. Whereas Sambo is very good for 1 v 1 or a fight which you can stop to be very involved in Systema is good for moving through or past the threat and continuing on without wasting time. It is a System that prepares you for a fight anwhere at any time
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@scarred10 and thats why it relies on training the senses for natural and realxed reaction rather than asking the operator to 100% alert all of the time like Krav Maga does (it is humanly impossible and exhausting and takes concentration away from other things e.g. mission objectives. So Systema can look fake because of instead of lining up for a boxing match or doing a huge throw that demands huge tiring effort the Systema practitioner efficently destroys their opponent using what ever is
ginjaninja1988 6 months ago
@ginjaninja1988
this makes alot of sense to me. I'm going to get some dvds and give it a try.
