I would have gone for way more firebats personally, though that's easy for me to say without knowing what sea's got in the bank. Point being though, firebats can deal with zerglings and swarm without much trouble, and that's pretty much been yarnc's main weapon. The drawback is that with more firebats and fewer marines, the science vessels are in more eminent peril than they would be otherwise, but I don't know, that seems like a reasonable trade-off--perhaps that's just me though.
the reason why he has like 8 sci vessel is because hes playing the SK Terran build.
the goal is to spend all minerals on m&m and all gas on vessels. the massive T army keeps constant pressure on Z and grind it to death. sending damaged vessels back for repair slows down the pressure and weakens primary strength of the build.
Can someone please explain why ppl run around with 10 sciense vessels in one group?? Go out with a few at a time and leave the rest somewhere safer, not like he's ever using more than 2-3 irridates at a time anyway.
believe it or not, they actually do use more that 2-3 irradiates. in some situations, defense matrix is also needed. not to mention the high chance of the SVs getting picked off by scourges while the marines are occupied
Good, but you REALLY need to fix your volume issue. I can barely hear you. I have my speakers cranked and you barely come out above the background noise.
Great game, and great commentary. Love your videos, or at least what I've seen so far. Agree with xodarapi though, you should try to remove some or all of the background noise.
It's great to see that a pro Terran tried d-matrixing his firebats. Facing Dark Swarm, you've got to do *something* to make your sole melee unit more resilient.
The only suggestion I have for this is to raise your speech volume. There were two instances where the noise of the game drowned out your voice.
That match was epic. I'm honestly amazed that FakeYellow hung on as long as he did.

If I were Yellow I would've pumped Ultras as soon as I noticed Sea omitted his factory build.
