In this day and age, if your device doesn't have apps, coherent wifi internet browsing and costs more than $120 for 16 gigs...its overpriced and crippled. ex: Sony Walkman S-Series (WIN!) Sony Walkman X-Series (serious FAIL!). The smaller Archos tablets are the only REAL iTouch competitor. It has a better price point and has Google Android as its OS...which means Flash support! That's the only way to beat an Apple product...give it Flash.

Well, before I had an iPod, I had a cheap $30 Mp4 player. It had Bright Display, Lots of EQ settings,and Bass, Movie and video settings too. It had AM/FM Radio and calendar but no clock. Also it was very responsive and easy to use. And plus all iPods have EQ settings a good quality. It's nothing new. So... you have anything you want to add to that?

You're so gullible, that sound cancelling just raises the lows and lowers the highs, making the sound quality lower just so you can hear it better over street noises, it cancels NOTHING. iPod Touch CAN be used as a VoIP phone now, there's been a mic and app produced by a 3rd party that apparently works very well. I have no clue what you mean improve the clarity of your song with a button, why would you want it to be less clear so that you would be able to put a button on to clear it up?

yeah, people called the Samsung T9 an iPod killer too. I believe it fell flat on its face, as will the P2. I've held the P2 in my hand and it has a cheap, tacky feel. The iTouch feels solid, not to mention its touch screen is farm more responsive and scratch resistant than the P2's.
