  • WOW

  • And the most exciting part is that in about 10 - 15 years we will have this in computer games...

  • Mother of God

  • what computer do you have ?

  • Computer games will be doing this real time in 20 years.

  • "there is 2,580,000 particles in the simulation

the mesh's and particles are taking 107 GB of disk space.."

    O.O wtf?

  • how did you export particles foam? in 3D program?

  • Mother of God

  • Omg I thought this was real at first... You know what I STILL think it's real O.O

  • Dude this is REAL LIFe.. O.O

  • Alright thats very nice, now give bill gates back his computer.

  • sick.. oh you have renderfarm right, eh?

  • this kinda looks like the water falls you'll see in the thieves guild in skyrim O_O

  • @BleachGod2 Are you joking? The water in skyrim looks like stale urine compared to this!

  • @0000000012300000000 ..... I've never quite heard anybody state something that way..... lol

  • They've really nailed it with the CG water now haven't they. Class.

  • wait, you mean that wasn't real?

  • This was bloody BRILLIANT ! You should DEFINITELY do some tutorials... especially on the photoreal look.

  • O_O Mother of god! Teach me MASTER

  • even my pc cany handle this video dammit!!!

  • that wasn't real water?!?!

  • I wanna drink from my monitor)

  • The fuck did you render this with. A satellite?

  • @bogrowlie a satellite, pfff. he rendered this with the ISS

  • That is literally indistinguishable from real water... Amazing.

  • Im a blender user, but after seeing a few of these fluid simulations, I want to learn to use RealFlow just so I can make these simulations.

  • Youre a cheater, you used real water

  • @Pentewynn another youtuber called, they want their copied comment back

  • Whoa, that is pretty!

  • screw you!!! thats real water

  • fake, it's real water

  • Show me that its not real!

  • @metin24Life The break down is in the video?

  • this looks actually like water :D

  • oh sht, it's real xD

  • you misspelled "Breakdown" wrong

  • @YINGAI1995 so that means he spelled breakdown right.

  • @airtwaine dude, read again..... misspelled the word breakdown.

  • @YINGAI1995 you said he misspelled it wrong... if he misspelled it wrong the he had to spell it right... (double negative)

  • @airtwaine oh yeah, i did not see that i put "wrong" again xD 1 point for you bro

  • @YINGAI1995 lol!

  • Fuck you, this is real.

  • the color render looks even better ;p

  • At first i was like "why would someone film water being poured into a bowl"

Then i was like "wait, whaaaat? Its a simulation?!?!"

  • damnn that looks real as fuck

  • Its real

  • I would die for a parameter-list and material-information...

  • that is very cool like real water!!

  • NASA called, they want theyr computer back

  • @MrArtus50 original poster called he wants his comment back

  • :OO eyegasm

  • lol, its more realistic than reality.

  • Render Time? 2 Years....

  • Is this real life?

  • Indistinguishable from actual footage.

  • Wow very realistic but the only thing i cant see i no one water simulation video is the water glue effect.

  • Render time on single-computer = priceless?

  • Awesome!

  • Wait that wasn't real O_O!!!!

  • this is more realistic than real water lol

  • 107 gb?!! Isn't there no other way to do this?

  • @L3ctronik isn't there any way*

  • @discipleofhoudini

    I'm sorry Teacher.

  • @L3ctronik i'll let it slide this once.

  • @discipleofhoudini

thank you, but do not call my parents...

  • thats real

  • gets*

  • IS THIS REALITY? (O_O)

  • wait this wasnt real water!? ooo my poor brain

  • R.I.P. mr. Processor and mrs. Free disc space.

  • Whenever I see a "realistic" 3D rendering, I can tell it's CG right off the bat, but this is the most realistic 3D rendering I've ever seen! I almost thought you were showing us a real life comparison video at the start!

  • Amazing ! I can hardly believe this is CGI !

    Bravo !

  • Fluid rendering perfection. I've never seen a more perfectly realistic render!

  • best render ive seen in my entire life

  • @chipaputalaguea you can see better renders on movies :)..still pritty amaizing

  • @hackerisslv well i mean is the best in all the youtube around

  • @chipaputalaguea agreed.

  • GIVE US FUCKING QUANTUM COMPUTING RIGHT NOW OR ELSE! Imagine the possibilities! I really hope it happens in my life time omg games would be so awesome! Even just computers using light would be cool, 1000 times faster than what we got now, but quantum omg endless possibilities!

  • Super impressive!

  • i like these pieces... they are great studies.

  • Holy shit thats an animation? o_O

  • I can drink that.

  • OMG That was amazing! Imagine that in a game.. in about 10 years... huuu....

  • @MrGLaDOS95 more like 20 years

  • @MrGLaDOS95

You'd need a hexa-core processor just to render the water!

  • @MrGLaDOS95 As someone that programs games, i dread the game when games are that detailed.... SOOOOooo much work. lol

  • @DiosArT ill need to buy a really expensive video card for that game lol

  • @MrGLaDOS95 in a game? that probably took the entire day to render :p but ye in a couple of years who knows

  • @MrGLaDOS95

support Cloud Gaming and you will see the grafic in 3 Years.

  • Wow, it looks too real ! ...almost hard to distinguish..

  • fake!!! this was normal water!!!

  • Render time?

  • in 10 years this will be in realtime

  • Hi, really cool video. How long did it take you to program (roughly) and also how long did your PC take to render it. I have an i7 920@ 3.8Ghz (stable in prime 95) {it's quad core} but only 6Gig of Ram and 2 x Hd5870's (I'm a gamer) but I dont think graphics cards make much difference to this? Could I do stuff like this on my PC you think? Also would I need quite a deep knowledge of the software?

  • i feel bad for the programmers who have to program water physics... that must be a pain in the ASS

  • That wasn't real life? What?

  • This looks so real!

  • Today, I drank glass of water.

  • I can't wait till hey put this kind of stuff into videogames. :O

  • @theatomizer About another 40 years maybe...

  • @MrMadisun I doubt that. All they need to do is get a CPU and GPU strong enough to render it real time, then find a way to make it reasonably priced. :p

  • @theatomizer But the thing is that there isnt any technology power full enough out yet or for some time that will real time renders. If that whole render took say 1 hour and that's a big underestimate, then how would you get that to work in a games engine :S

If you then jump to the future were they do have such power full technology it would cost ALOT!

  • WOW, that's amazing. I need a better PC to do anything near that quality.

  • where i can download real flow cracked so i can practice thist software

  • I think Jesus started rendering it at 0 year.

  • it's breakdown, not breakedown

  • theres something about the final render (first one) that makes it less realistic that the other two. makes its a bit too much white? Anyone else think so?

    looks good tho

  • looks real... FAKE ! (?)

  • NICE!

  • Just think in a few year a hand held game boy like toywill have this power..............

  • 107 GB WTF !!! is this true

  • big deal, you just videotape yourself pouring out some water! gosh ;)

  • 107 GB of disk space?!?!.render time?????/

  • Wow, that has to be the most realistic looking cg water ever o. o

  • Perfect!!

  • Perfect!!

  • when i started to see this i thought... hum... fake! When i saw the wireframe and renders parts i was like O_O

  • This is absolutely amazing.

  • impressive... :)

  • I don't get sometimes why people dislike videos. I mean this video is pretty good. And heck it looks flipping realistic. But if you don't understand it or don't like it, just move on right a long and go watch some other video

  • @lpdevilliers you could say the same about liking, ?

  • Delicious!

  • Ultra realistic

  • FAKE

  • @globogs your fake get the fuck off youtube

  • @ronniereiff

    umad?

  • @globogs no thanks for being concerned about me

  • @ronniereiff

    u sound mad

  • @Nicro327 Same!!!!!

  • I thought this was real, lol. Until it said "breakdown" XD

  • SWEET

  • beautifull foam! Water at the settleing look liitle cgi droppy, but overall - one of the best "homemade" pouring scenes I've seen so far !

  • thanks allot for that piece and it was real real water as u did it realistic job

  • what program do u use for this?=))))

    btw, its aweosome!!

  • holy shit. I just died and gone to heaven :O

  • Not to ask about render time, right? :D

  • @TheGeniusDesigns this has so many particles that is has been rendering since the dawn of mankind

  • @TheGeniusDesigns 10 minutes :D

  • very realistic~

  • have any tutorial about this

  • woooowwww... I honestly thought I was watching soapy water at first! I was like, "who sits around recording soapy water?" ...then had my mind blow LOL!

  • I keep getting eye-gasms from these things. Seriously freaky

  • MAKE A TUTORIAL

  • wow wtf? i thought its a stupid video bout an idiot that just drop water on the floor

    - btw the water looks totally real

  • Niiiiice!

  • to my favorites, this is beast

  • This video alone could get you hired ten times

  • It looks a little thick to just be water - esp. at the end. The foam looks great!

  • Cgi? Looks like you recorded this in real life :O

  • would you mind listing your RF parameters, surface tension/viscosity/int&ext pressure etc and also what scale was your scene at?

  • n1, good job.

  • I think it looks most realistic at 0:18. I dunno why but bits of the start one is a bit weird to me

  • Very nice!

  • i dnt believe it.. =.= its real man..he faked us! xO

  • lol, my pc would spazem if i tried to produce that.

  • Could you to create a lesson on it video? Procedure of creation of foam, a fog and z-depth especially interests. I cannot find good tutorials on compose anywhere. Could you to help?

  • Has anyone tried this method on a larger scale body of water. Would it be possible to have the water reflecting the environment when the water has settled?

  • I did not believe this was an actual 3D simulation in the beginning. It looked too real....... Ubernice

  • Great simulation and render with krakatoa & vray tutorial in perspective ? :)

  • Hands down, you're insane!!! congratulations, wish you the best, keep sharing your great work!!!

  • nice, really cool

so you just simulated the mesh, no foam or splash on realflow?

  • I only have one thing to say: Dude!

  • HI great result! how long time takes the simulation in RF? and into Vray.

    Regards!

  • Does Realflow simulations such as that one require heavy duty cpu/gpu power? Because I might just get that software if it doesn't require too much.

  • @belliebum12

    2X Intel Xeon E5520 Nehalem 2.26GHz LGA 1366 80W Quad-Core Server Processor

    Crucial 12GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

  • @pixelpro1 In other words. yes

  • @pixelpro1 Holy shit, 12gigs of ram? nice... how do you get realflow anyways, is there any way to get it for free?

  • @lillisund

    what do you think... ;)

  • @DanielFrisbee I dunno, yu tell me, is it free? :s

  • @pixelpro1 How much time that took to calculate on real flow ?

  • @pixelpro1 Your works are very nice! Do you know of any plugins for 3Ds Max, to stress the video card instead of the CPU?

It's such a shame that Autodesk doesn't make applications which can fully take advantage of the CUDA GPU's of graphics cards! This sucks. Your processor is awesome, no doubt (2X Intel Xeon E5520 Quad), but even an Nvidia GeForce 460 1GB could render shit a lot faster than any CPU on the market today, but nooooo, I have to suck dick with 3Ds Max because I have Intel i5 760!

  • @pixelpro1 THIS IS HARDCORE!!!

  • @pixelpro1 HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH if my
