@toddgei the 3ds also uses motion control, takes 3d pics, plays 3d movies, and you can take a photo of yourself and make a mii. HUGE improvement from the DS Lite.

(Sonic 06) So far, the 3DS has a pretty kick-ass lineup. I'll probably not use the 3D as much when I'm playing games though because it kills the battery life but whatever. You don't have to see the graphics in 3D if you don't want to. I have no problem with no HD. I've been gaming without it for a long time now. (until I got a PS3 and 360)
Yup, old technology, and the Wii was still more successful than the PS3. The Wii didn't have HD, but what they didn't have in graphics they backed up with gameplay. What Sony didn't make up in sales, they backed up with downgrades and mimicry. Playstation Move, Trophies, the PS Slim, all good examples of this. And didn't they get rid of the USB ports on the PS3? The PS3 is a solid system but I hate how they have all these models for it (25G, 40G, 80G, 120G, 160G, 250G)

I donno about this one, I chose DS lite over PSP and that was a mistake, if it wasnt for the R4 and all the homebrew I would toss that thing out the window by now. Soon it is going to be 3DS vs PSP2, I might go for the PSP2 this time.
I didn't get either of those games. I already have ME2 for pc. It probably looks better on ps3, but I would rather have all my choices from ME1 carry over. And before anyone scream at me about the comic, that comic only lets you make 6 choices, and I enjoy the little choices that carry over like yelling at Conrad and beating up the reporter.
As for LBP2, I'll just wait for the GOTY edition that will be $30 and will have extra content.
Shit I just barely got a PSP so I'm trying to catch up on all the awesome games for it. I'll be waiting for 2nd gen 3ds as well but I'm really looking forward to finally checking it out in person. Can't wait for the PSP2 reveal next week!
Day one buy for me. usually I don't buy things like this right away but there are already lots of games I want for it right on launch. plus I fear it may be like the Wii and will be sold out everywhere for many months and I'm sure gamestop will have a trade in deal for older DS handhelds..
I will have to wait for 3DS. It's $300 that's either xbox360 or PS3. I'm gonna have to test it out firsthand in store first unless they have 1 great fucking game that utlizes 3D at unprecedented level.
I have a lot on my plate especially with building a new GTX560 based Computer in the build. Besides I can wait for a cheaper price, a larger library, and an improved 3DSlite model. Games look good though.

@K4GE05 didnt like portable ops. the fact that everything was jump in missions instead of a straight narrative really ruined it for me.
and the psp is about to be replaced with the soon to be announced psp2 so pointless to go get a psp at this point in time.

@wiggin42 I wasnt a big fan of portable ops either, but those ac!d games were epic !!!! Not sure why everyone bagged them, I loved the ac!d series and I hope that Konami bring it back, I would love to see an ac!d game released on PSN for the PS3.

@Wip3ou7 I'll get the 3DS, but I'll get the "Lite" version that they'll most likely a year or 2 after the original's release. I'll get some games in the mean time. Glad to see you also agree with my view that it isn't worth getting the 3DS at launch. Not only will the price be lower, but they'll make it sleeker, longer battery life, better hardware, better 3D screen, and probably more durable.

I donno about this one, I chose DS lite over PSP and that was a mistake, if it wasnt for the R4 and all the homebrew I would toss that thing out the window by now. Soon it is going to be 3DS vs PSP2, I might go for the PSP2 this time.

I didn't get either of those games. I already have ME2 for pc. It probably looks better on ps3, but I would rather have all my choices from ME1 carry over. And before anyone scream at me about the comic, that comic only lets you make 6 choices, and I enjoy the little choices that carry over like yelling at Conrad and beating up the reporter.
As for LBP2, I'll just wait for the GOTY edition that will be $30 and will have extra content.

Shit I just barely got a PSP so I'm trying to catch up on all the awesome games for it. I'll be waiting for 2nd gen 3ds as well but I'm really looking forward to finally checking it out in person. Can't wait for the PSP2 reveal next week!

Day one buy for me. usually I don't buy things like this right away but there are already lots of games I want for it right on launch. plus I fear it may be like the Wii and will be sold out everywhere for many months and I'm sure gamestop will have a trade in deal for older DS handhelds..

I will have to wait for 3DS. It's $300 that's either xbox360 or PS3. I'm gonna have to test it out firsthand in store first unless they have 1 great fucking game that utlizes 3D at unprecedented level.

I have a lot on my plate especially with building a new GTX560 based Computer in the build. Besides I can wait for a cheaper price, a larger library, and an improved 3DSlite model. Games look good though.

converts to £156 and I said yesterday if its over £150 I ain't buying it so, no deal nintendo. I never play anything on my DS anyway and with the statement that the PSP2 will be as powerfull as the PS3, I will wait.
