@TheRavenKris Normal Khezu can appear anywhere. It can land in Zone 1 and even inside Zone 3 but yes, Normal Khezu appears in 7 but not 5 though. Zone 5 is too small to fight at.

@jugofan1 Uh ok to upgrae it from shark to dragon here the things u need 2 light crystal[get from your farm, and if you break the gypserous head u get it in the reward] 5 wyren fang[ uh from regular minnion monster i remember] and 6 velocidrome hide. and u should be able to upgrade ur ls :) hope this help uh if u need more helps go to google and type in monster hunter wiki and click the first link[or it should be] it have all the weapons path and material and guis and stuff gl :)?

What I usually do is I wait for the khezu at area 1 then I fight him, but if the time is 47 minutes left and the khezu is still NOT there in area 1, then I go to area 3 then i'm sure his there.

help me i use bone katana "wolf" can i beat him with it? i know the tactics. be ready to evade electric coat hit leg untill he falls over then attack head. but my "wolf" cannot deal damage to his leg. it just sparks and no blood. do I need a green sharp wep?

@undercoverpivotdudes yeah, you're bouncing off him so you're going to want to upgrade your weapon. otherwise, you have attack him on his head but that puts you in front of him.

for this map , just exit the base , and use a "Flute" at Area 1 , and there is a really high chance that khezu will just come flying over . or you can use go to gestures and use "wave" at the balloon in the sky (if its there) and it will show u the location of the monster . (for awhile) you can only use the balloon once though .

Khezu is really realllyyyy easy . just use a light bow gun , stay close but just out of his electric coat range. and use Pellet S >.> he'll drop like a rock

More Khezu tips:

- If he's standing, go for the legs, go for the head during electric charge (flank his head) or when he tips over

- Dung bombs are good, they make him stop and try to seek you out after, good for buying time.

- If you do enough damage to his head he gets scars there and awards a break bonus (which includes pale bones)

- shock trap as a last resort, if you catch him in 1 you can pitfall him for free headshots. He breaks shock faster then most other monsters.

Iron katana grace is better then using shark, tried so many times to kill him with shark, switched to my metal katana (grace) and he fell like a sack of beans.

metal katanas: less raw power then bone, but boasts better sharpness and stay sharp longer

bone katanas: lots of firepower and favor dragon elements, but they dull fast.

Khezu's hide requires green+, grace boasts a longer green then shark and a fairly high raw.

on top of that you can target his head for even more damage during trips.

hey i got a trick just let the khezu come to the summit and then when it escapes just go to 6,7 or 8th area you'll find him just wait or if it does'nt comes paintball him when you're battling him this comes really handy if you dont have psychoserum or just wave at the hot air balloon.(this tip are for beginners who dont find the khezu

I always find the khezu in area 3,1 or 6 for first combat, psychoserum is an epic must have for hunting :)

thing is: Not all of us can get dragon by the time we get to Khezu... only up to shark, which doesn't have the sharpness to cut through his thick hide. The only spot we can hit him is the head, and you tell us to avoid that [with good reason]

if you're expirienced and have the equipment you can do this like titoukey did.. naked and attacking from any angle..

if you can get wep with green sharpness then this is a great guide, otherwise it's a good waste of 10minutes

If you get the alternative Longsword, the Iron Katan I think, you could easily upgrade that to having Green sharpness. By this point when you're ready to fight Khezu, you should be able to gather the materials to make it.

all u need to do is spam damage to the monster's head which is its weakest point. when in rage mode, spam damage on the legs and get a good distance when it does the lightning blast covering the entire body howling like a bitch which leaves u open if u dont have high grade earplugs. hes also weak to fire elem.

Remember analyze its attacks/movements, use the Triangle+Circle hit and run method on its feet. And spam the hell outta your R when he falls. Its gg if you follow this

heres a tip hes weak to slash attacks to the head and neck and the closer your slash is to the hilt of the blade the more damage it does so aim for just past his mouth after he does the spit and when hes doing the discharge or jusp aim for the legs for the fall
