  • thanks for the video.

  • Mine isn't fading, does anyone have an idea why?

  • Fast, concise. Thank you. I am so sick of tutorials that explain in 9 minutes what they can explain in 4. "Hey! Hello you! how have you been doing! We are going to make a flash animation! Yay! Are you ready to start? let's go!" UGH. Get to the fucking point!. You do that, so thanks :)

  • THANK YOU! You have saved me so much headache!

  • Thanks!

  • How do i do a black fade into a picture instead of this white.

  • @komackboy Use a black background instead of a white one

  • Great great tutorial mate... realyt helped me out

  • Excellent. One idea may be to show finished project first...this shows viewer where all of the following steps is taking them. A beginner may get confused with 20-30 steps

Like riding bicycle, showing pedals/spokes handlebars/etc...show riding first. Only a suggestion.

  • Thanks Dude its really helpful !

  • Excellent video. This is the only one i've found that makes the process make any sense.

    Use classic tween for CS5

    Find Alpha:

also in CS5, finding the properties color menu is torture. The only way I was able to discover: double click on a layer's corresponding symbol in the library (this opens an editor); click the "back" arrow; click the properties tab - now you should be able to see the color menu. (Seriously!?)

I'm sure there's a better way that my stupid workaround, really...

  • Thanks for the upload, helped alot

  • You need to create a stop action to make the tweens stop. =)

  • CLICK 'CREATE CLASSIC TWEEN' FOR CS5 USERS!

  • @350zdude Thanks!

  • Thank you SO much! This was the first fade in/out tutorial that has made sense! I love all these tutorials videos, they are awesome and so helpful!

But I would make a suggestion, it's hard to see the code clearly on youtube. I think that it would be nice if you could include and actionscript code in the sidebar/info area on youtube. Thanks!!
