Adrian played a free show a few weeks ago in the theater at Sweetwater Sound. He is as good as he's ever been. His final comment to the audience was something to the effect of, "I can't wait to see what the future holds."

I grew up in Kansas City MO in the 60's. There was a drugstore called Katz and they had a sign of a huge and ghastly grinning black cat head lined in neon. I always thought this song had to be about that sign.

Actually, there was no "stint" with King Crimson. Belew is STILL with King Crimson( for over two decades now), and is beginning a tour with them in July!

This is great. I hadn't seen this since I first saw it, baked out of my mind in college. Pretty dang good even with the primitive computer graphics they had in those days. And Belew is just a master-- his work on King Crimson's _Discipline_ and Bowie's _Scary Monsters_ is not to be missed.

Bought this album in Paris in the 80's after hearing his collaboration with Talking Heads.

There was also a video for 'Swing Line'. I saw it on Showtime during the dead time between the end of a movie and the top of the next hour once.
It was like a line drawn cartoon, white on a black background. There were these really cool visual bursts with the snare drum beats.

I saw Belew w/Bowie on the Sound & Vision tour, years ago, and also playing with Fripp w/the revised King Crimson (where he played "Big Electric Cat" as an audience request).

Frank Zappa seen talent!! All Franks bands were crack ass musicians..Belew was one of many guys , like Steve Vai, that Frank gave a big break to.. Belew is a felow Covinton , Ky native like myself. He can flat play a geetar..,.

Carlos Alomar, Chuck Hammer, Robert Fripp, Pete Townshend and Tony Visconti were the guitarists on Scary Monsters - no mention of Mr Belew !

This is great. I hadn't seen this since I first saw it, baked out of my mind in college. Pretty dang good even with the primitive computer graphics they had in those days. And Belew is just a master-- his work on King Crimson's _Discipline_ and Bowie's _Scary Monsters_ is not to be missed.
