I know this is an old post, but vortech does recommend if there is any noise move the wetside houseing around to connect better to the outer. This may or may not work just a suggestion.
It's a 72G bowfront tank. I'm running the Vortech near it's max which is about 3000 gph plus about another 2000 gph from the other two Tunze Nanostreams.

I'm running 2 mod Tunze Nanostream 6025 (>1000 gph) and the Vortech (>3000 gph) . Total flow is about >5000 gph. :)
