I'll tell you why he has never and will never take part of the dunk contest.

LeBron is a businessman, and he knows that it could damage his image IF he loses it, or IF he doesn't put on quite a show, that's why.

He'd be risking a lot, I'm a big fan of him but I think it's not worth it: he's already a superstar, an All-Star game MVP, league scoring champ and most importantly a Gold Medalist, so he doesn't need to shine in a competition like this to make a name for himself,like JoshSmith/NateRobin
