  • You are not seeing the rear door fill in marks. I am building the same thing with my 67 wagon. I cut the posts and quarter panels out and welded in quarter panels and b pillars from a 2 door sedan, and hung sedan front doors. Chevy never built a 2 door Nova or Chevy II wagon. If you look closely and compare to a 4 door, you will see that the welds are behind where the back door seam would have been, and the front doors from the 2 door sedan are about 10 inches longer than a 4 door.

  • I've never heard of a 2 door Chevy II wagon. 4 doors yes, two door sedans, yes. But never a 2 door wagon. Sweet!

  • i would like to find out where this car is so i can buy it please help

  • @ justlikepauls1979 hey u commented this video 1965 Chevy II Nova well just 2 let u kno the doors was not just welded shut my dad built this car he took parts off a 65 nove 2 door and made the 4 door a 2 door just letting u kno

  • @sagecreeps this car is not original my father built this car it was a 4 door he cut everything and made it a 2 door it was not just filling in the crack

  • you can see where the rear 2 doors were welded up

  • gm never made a two door. all two doors are custom jobs.

  • @artwist there is no rear wing window so after i google awhile seen many pics of 4 door wagons and watching this video over and over it looks original.

  • apezar de estar velho o carro é muito loco

  • sweetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • a side note: the 1965s looked much better than the 1966s and later

  • I had a 65" Nova wagon. I bought it in 1981 from an old lady in my neighborhood. I paid $600 for it. It had a 2 speed auto trans, manual drum brakes, power steering, 194 L-Head 6 cylinder and a one bbl carb. I sold it after 5 years. I finally had to dump it because the entire rear area was rotting out...thats what happens to Massachusetts cars. It was a real good car and I remember it got great highway milage.

  • In 1962, There was a factory 2-door wagon. I can't say that this isn't factory also.

Also, I don't know what year ('62-'65), there was a wagon that was 4-door on one side and 2-door on the other side. Rare, but true!

  • @J1web You are confusing another model with the Chevy II. Possibly the Malibu or Suburban. Nova/Chevy II wagons were only produced as four door models.

  • At least they used the doors off of a two door sedan when they converted this one. I see too many of them with the stock, (shorter), doors laft in place with the stock b-pillar location and the rear doors welded up and filled in.

FYI to those who don't already know, Chevy never produced a two door Nova/Chevy II wagon in the six years of their existence from the factory.

  • you can see the mark where the rear doors were filled in.

  • always wanted a two door wagon! offerd a guy 1500 to his face in 96 for one just like this full of news paper and mags and he wouldn't sell. love to know if this is for sale.
