  • hey OOCH i was wondering when the yomega ooch smoov will be back in stock

  • bring back the lancers brooo

  • Hey Ooch I really enjoy watching the yomega DvD and you really taught me alot! I have a yomega brain right now and I've been looking at a good intermediate skilled yoyo for me do you recommend the hot shot?

  • anybody know how to make my maverick unresponsive

  • @dylanf44 clean the bearing with lighter fluid, mineral spirits. Also change the response system to rtv silicone. You can find a tutorial on how to do it on youtube. Silicone makes the binds tighter and it lastes longer than rubber does. I hope this helps :)

  • Hey Ooch ! Are there any unresponsive yo-yos around at any retailers? 'Cause I need to get my tricks down and I want to learn more.

  • Hey Ooch, can you buy new bearings and bearings with longer sleep time? plzz tell me

  • The bearings are standard for each yo-yo. Depending on which type of yo-yo you have, some offer different spacers.

  • Oh, sorry I realized they were inside, but do you have any ways to get the yoyo to come back up? I honestly can't do a bind yet, but whatever I try, it won't grab the string and come back up. Help!

  • Help! I just got the Yomega Maverick yesterday, and I really need to know If there is supposed to be spacers inside it. I realized it wasnt coming back up so I look inside and I didnt see them, so I do a little research. Are there supposed to be spacers?

  • Yes, there are 2 spacers in the Maverick. The spacers are silver and lie flat against the each yo-yo half. If you are still having trouble email info@yomega.com.

  • I am a big fan and i use the maverick

  • Hi ooch. I have a serious problem with my yomega hotshot. Please answer this question. My hotshot sleeps for a long time but my friend gets annoyed by the loud noise that it makes. He says to lube it but i dont think its a good idea. I say that becuase wont it decrease the sleeping time? or will it increase it. PLEASE HELP!

  • The loud noise is almost always due to a lubricant issue. To correct it, just put a drop of Brain Lube on the axle. Unfortunately, the lube will decrease the sleep time.

  • Hey Ooch! Does the large spacers make the maverick unresponsive?

  • The Maverick yo-yo is a responsive yo-yo. The wide spacers will make the yo-yo less responsive but will not make it fully unresponsive. Over time the Maverick can be made unresponsive by extended play, cleaning the bearings and not using Brain Lube.

  • yomega my brand new maverick i got did not come with wide spacers and it is really responsive how do i make it unresponsive

  • The Maverick does not include the wide spacers. They can be purchased at yomega.com. The wide spacers will make the yo-yo less responsive but will not make it fully unresponsive. Over time the Maverick can be made unresponsive by extended play, cleaning the bearings and not using Brain Lube.

  • The Maverick is now in stock and available online at Yomega.com

  • Hey Outch or Brett, I'm a beginner / intermediate yoer from Cape Cod Massachuettes and I got the Maverick and it's amazing, but I have one question. I've always had trouble doing Walk the dog or sleeping yo-yo's to the ground tricks with the maverick, It always curves off. Does that happen to you?

  • Most likely the yo-yo curves off due to the way it is thrown down. Keep practicing by keeping your arm straight when you throw down the yo-yo, this should help with the problem. Also, you may want to refer to the Yomega Website Trick section and view the YouTube video on the Walk the Dog and the Sleeper.

  • Hey Ooch, I'm looking to buy the maverick but I can't find it anywhere. Do you have any idea where I can buy one?

  • The Maverick is now in stock and available online at Yomega.com

  • hey ooch, ive had the maverick for a while now its still really responsive. any tips to make it less responsive? also, im having trouble doing any string tricks that require 3 or more loops around the yoyo (such as mach 5). it seems that the yoyo is grabbing the string and firing back to my hand mid trick (which kills). any idea whats up? thanks!

  • Over time the Maverick can be made unresponsive by extended play, cleaning the bearings and not using Brain Lube (or any other lube). The yo-yo may be snapping back because most likely your string is pinched on the inside of the yoyo. Disassemble and restring using the single loop method. You may want to refer to the Yomega website and the Trick section and check out the YouTube videos.

  • Hey ooch. I have a question about my maverick. If I lub it, will it sleep longer or just make the yoyo more responsive? Please write back. Thanks! :P

  • In order to get the yo-yo to sleep longer you must get the yo-yo to spin properly and the only way that happens is to give it a hard enough downward throw. The yo-yo shouldn't become more responsive when you throw it down because the Maverick isn't an auto-return model. If thsi does happen, you may want to make sure all your parts are in correctly and the yo-yo is strung properly.

  • @migodealo putting lube on a yoyo will slow the sleep time. To increase sleep time let the bearing ware in and practice harder throws.

  • hey ooch!! ig ot a Xodus II........ why isnt there a video on that?

  • The video for the Xodus II is on our website under the Help Section. The Video is named "Video help for Raider and other Ball Bearing Models". The Xodus II is a bearing system yo-yo so the basic maintenance and stringing is the same for the beaing models.

  • that reflex

  • where'd u get the name ooch?

  • @SORAmai24 His last name is Outchicunis or something like that

  • His full last name is Outchcunis, so for short his name is Ooch.

  • is there way to make it unresponsive?

  • Overtime the Maverick can be made unresponsive with extended play which will wear down the bearing. Also don't use any Brain lube (or any other lube).

  • Hey ooch my maverick is making a rattling sound when I make it sleep is this bad or is my yoyo broke and if it needs lube will ordinary vaseline work if you can help me thanks

  • This is almost always due to a lubricant issue. To correct it, just put a drop of Brain Lube on the axle. You may also want to check and make sure all the parts are in correctly, if the spacers are in wrong you may have crushed the bearing. In place of Brain Lube, mineral oil or baby oil will work.

  • @99kliozs Maverick, the aluminum makes it easier to slide up and down on string tricks and you can still do old, fun basic tricks, too.

  • hi i wont to no where is a yoyo store in canada

  • i live in canada soo do you know a place that i can buy yomega yoyos i want to toysrus they only have a fireball and i have one already soo can you show me plzzs

  • yo ooch yomega pwns but one question r u the yomega presedent if not who is.

  • @MandMYoYo12 Ooch is not the President of Yomega but he is a part of the Team. The President of Yomega is Lenny Amaral.

  • do u have a store near bellingham? because i want a maverickor at east a yoyo with a butterfly shape and the stores here lke fredmeyers have the butterfly sold out and i cant find a good one like the ones u hav.

  • hey ooch is it easy to bind return unresponsive yoyo's and is the yomega maverick non responsive when you jerk it

  • @THEFRYATT12 The Maverick is a great advanced yoyo that is responsive enough to provide a good return but unresponsive enough to do string tricks.

  • hey ooch im getting a maverick for christmas but i need to no is it easy to bind a yoyo and is the maverick an unresponsive yoyo

  • were can i buy this awsome yoyo in INDIA plez help !

  • i meant when i open the yoyo and put my spear string the axle came off or something did mines is a "Yomega Brain XP Wing"

  • Hey Ooch i recently got a yoyo but then when i open the mines the axle or something came off and i cant put it back

  • Hey Ooch I was wondering could you possibly do a review on the Ooch Smoov please?

  • is the dash better or equal than the maverick

  • Comment removed

  • Hey i was thinking about either getting the Yomega Maverick or the Yomega Dash which one would you recommend?

  • Comment removed

  • is the yomega dash equal or better than the maverick

  • Usually, how long does your shipping take???

  • hey ooch ur awsome i orderd mavrick and smart switch on last thursday befor thanks giving break its still not coming

  • I got the maverick but its too responsive. How do u make it unresponsive!?

  • the maverick is it a roller bearing or ball baering

  • @MrRodfire roller bearing is just another term for ball bearing. :)

  • Hey Ooch. i have a question. i'm currently using the yomega maverick and I'm ready to move on to advanced tricks. but, I want my yoyo unresponsive so I can do plastic whip, quadruple laceration, etc. I looked in your store but couldn't find thin lube. It only has thick lube. What's a way to make my maverick unresponsive?

  • @yoyoswimmer2 to make the yoyo less responsive you'll need to ware down the pads a little and break the ball bearing in a bit with play. For more info, write to info@yomega.com

  • What's maverick spin time please ??

  • @Jerem387 spin time will depend on your throw speed but the Maverick is capable of very long spin times.

  • I just recently purchased the Yomega Maverick, and I love it except for one thing. When I go to make it sleep it turns on its side like the UFO trick. Is that a balance issue? Would you reccomend doing anything to improve the sleep time?

  • @themrman1212 sounds like you need to just practice, practice, practice. Be sure to watch the DVD that comes with the Maverick - it will help you.

  • Sooo glad i got the maverick, highly reccomend it!

  • hey ooch, i have a question, i just recenty purchased a Dash, and i love it , but its making a flapping/whining sound, and i already tried brain lube, but its still doing it, so any suggestions?

  • @LilOGMtt11 If the bearing is performing as you like it to no need to worry about the noise. Odds are you are describing normal bearing noise - for more help, contact info@yomega.com

  • @LilOGMtt11 you could try new rubber return rings

  • i am pretty sure i ordered my yomega maverick from a fake yomega website........

  • @mrlamabamaman TO make sure you get the correct product and the best service please visit our store at yomega.com

  • @mrlamabamaman it turns out i ordered it from the yomega website and it is coming tomorrow whoo!!

  • I love this yoyo!

  • the maverick is 30 bucks

  • Where could i get a Maverick in Canada , BC (richmond)? I checked toys R us but it isn't there and i don't wish to pay a lot of money for shipping costs. Should i check again? I have quite a lot of yo yo experience.

  • yeah boing boing !

  • hey ooch can u make a vid that shows how to do the plastic whip?

  • Just wondering I'm not a beginner but i know how to use a Yo-Yo and im pretty good but im curious whether or not the Dash or Maverick will be good to start learning more complicated tricks. What do you think?

  • @MrThomasp94 If you have some yoyo skills the Dash and Maverick can be the next step for you. But you need to know the basics before you use these models...

  • hey ooch i am wondering why my maverick is soo responsive how do i make it unresponsive

  • @1ofthemakers The Maverick becomes less repsonsive when the pads ware down and the oils in the bearing ware out. When the oils / lube in the bearing thins or wars off the yoyo will stop returning.

  • hey ooch can you do advanced string tricks such as boing boing, mach 5, and buddahs revenge with the hot shot????? please answer!!

  • @kreeper183 Yes you can do those tricks with a Hot Shot - but you'll need to practice to get them correct.

  • hey ooch, do you know a way i could make the dash unresponsive? i'm having a hard time doing some tricks with it like plastic whip. would flowable silicone do do the trick? or other parts you would recommend would be appreciated, thanks.

  • @JeffGiovarri The bearing is the key to making a yoyo unresponisve. When the oils run out or ware out the yoyo will become less responsive. The pads when worn down will also make the yoyo less responsive. If you wish to clean the ball bearing contact info@yomega.com for more information.

  • hey, im getting a maverick soon, and i wanted to know if you had to lube it and how.

so how do you lube it?

  • @MsMegajosh Lube is only needed when the yoyo stops returning to your hand when called. The bearing in the Maverick is lubed during the manufacturing process and will not need additional lube until is wares off. If you want your yoyo to be unresponsive - most don't - than you'll need to ware the bearing in a bit and not lube it.

  • maverick brown?

  • @sergirap1000 The Maverick comes in Silver or Black.

  • Is Yomega getting ready to release some awesome new yo-yos really soon? Or am I just looking too deep at what I've seen.

  • @ILykToDoDuhDrifting Yomega will release some new metal and plastic ball bearing yoyos later this year. I'm sure you'll enjoy them both.

  • hey ooch im thinkin of getting a yoyo would you recommend the xodus 2 or hyperwarp heavy wing

  • @sosodruid Since the HWHW is not made anymore and the Xodus II is really made for offstring play, I would recommend the Hot Shot or Maverick for string tricks.

  • @sosodruid If your looking for a ball beearin wing shaped yo-yo I would go with the Maverick or Dash.

  • i want a crossfire but it isn't on sale can you please subscribe why?

  • @demogujade The Crossfire was discontinued. I would recommend the Maverick or Hot Shot as a substitute.

  • @yomegacorp ok thanks

  • Got mine today and its great!!!! (I found it at a store!!)

  • Hey Ooch,

Is the yomega dash ANY good??

    I just got it!!!!!!

  • help!, can you please tell me which yo-yo to buy? Maverick Or Dash

    which one sleeps longer?

  • @zcxvnbads They are both great yoyos - either one will work great for you. The Dash is a bit heavier and wider.

  • Ooch, what is your best trick with a MaveRick ?? I want to buy one but I wish to know what is the best trick I can do with this Yo-Yo...

    PS : I'm good at Yo-Yo...

  • @Jerem387 With the Maverick you can do all the advanced string tricks. The only thing I would not recommend the Maverick for is looping - wing shaped yoyos do not loop well.

  • @yomegacorp Yes, I know, but, what is the advanced Yo-Yo Trick for You ??

  • @MrJbooty69 sounds like you got a pinched string. If the Maverick won't sleep you either have a knot or the string is caught between the bearing and the half. Always restring the yoyo when it is together. For more help visit the help section at yomega.

  • I have a Yomega Xodus II but the spin time I get is not long enough for the tricks I wanna learn... What should I get??? The Maverick?

    Please answer!

    Thank you!!!

  • @LadiesmanGW The Maverick is designed for string trick play and will give you longer spin times than the Xodus II. That yoyo is designed for Off String play.

  • @yomegacorp Ok thanks a lot!!!

I still do not know if I am going to get it or not because I saw all the other good yo-yos for quite cheap.

  • what about the outch yo (smoov edition) is it any better in any way than the maverick

  • @101pokedude the ooch smoov is for very advanced play and should only be used by players who have advanced skills. The Maverick is a yo-yo that can handle all the advanced tricks and its a better place to start than the Smoov. Buy a Smoov when your ready for a Smoov.

  • @yomegacorp thanks

  • the yomega maverick yoyo is a good yoyo...XD i just ordered it today

  • hey would recommend the maverick or the dash for string tricks?

  • @gamer241000 either way you can't go wrong. They are both good for string tricks. The Dash is a little heavier and wider.

  • where can i get lubes?

  • LOL "(...) Good luck and wear a helmate"

  • um im trying to look for a mavrick yoyo at metro town mall in canada toys r us do they have any Because my friend got 1 on friday

  • ha this guy is hilarious

  • i have a maverick,

oh and, what is the spin time you should get from a maverick (before oiling)

    thank you

  • @plane1233 The Maverick and Dash are capable of spins over 2 minutes but this is not common and depends on factors like pad ware, bearing lube and the strength of your throw. Most players can get spins over 1 minutes. In general, the more you lube the bearing the less spin time you will get. Lube is only needed when the yoyo will not return during a spin. Lube does not increase spin time.

  • i have a maverick.... should have wore a halment...

oh and, what is the spin time you should get from a maverick (before oiling)

    thank you

    (you are awsoooooome at yoyoing.....)

  • What kind of responce does the hot shot have?

  • @JG9609 the hot shot uses a rubber return system. it is very smooth and good for advanced string tricks.

  • can we make maverick unresponsive?what should we do?

  • @chunhuitiga The Maverick can be made to be less responsive. However, unresponsive yoyos are only needed for the most extreme string tricks. A Maverick out of the pkg is capable of very challenging string tricks and is a great advanced play.

  • i have a gammabrain yoyo

  • 1:53 thats wat she said

  • where can i buy one of these other then on the site? or do they not sell them anywhere else?

  • @MaggotsHope you can find a Maverick at specialty toy stores in the USA.

  • hello yomega. I would like to know if you could loop with a maverick? PLEASE RESPOND!!!

  • @rockbandboy101 the Maverick is for string trick play. For looping use a Raider or Radier Ex yoyo.

  • hey i just ordered a maverick are they GOOD!!! :D

  • @y0yofr3ak - great yoyo!

  • do they cost alot????????? and is it one of ur favs.and does it sleep for a long time

  • @pokmon50 they cost about 30 dollars which is a great price for this yoyo.

  • can yo do a finger grind with the maverick

  • @ephillips413 yes you can do any string trick with a Maverick.

  • is maverick responsive ,i hope not

  • The Maverick can be made less responsive. Most choose to keep it responsive so it returns well. You can do all advanced string tricks with a Maverick.

  • Is the Dash unresponsive?

  • The Dash can be made unresponsive. Most prefer it to come back when called.

  • when mouth is the maverick going to come out on???

  • Maverick will be out in late April - hopefully sooner. Our Twitter will tell you first.

  • ooch when mouth is the maverick going to come out on???

  • how much will the marrick be in uk???

  • the plastic yomega spacers can it fit on maverick?

  • @tienyickwei - Hello, plastic spacers do not fit in the Yomega Maverick.

  • The yomega maverick is the best all if my friends thinks I'm the coolest person an have the best yo yo

  • the maverick is SO much fun to use

  • my dash does not return after i do all my tricks whats wrong with it?

  • how long does it sleep

  • ur sik man i wish i can meet u

  • i agree the maverick is very amazing

  • this is really cool

  • what yoyo would u recomend that spin the longest ooch

  • Yomega recommends you match a yo-yo with your skill set. Start with a Brain auto-return and as your skills grow move toward longer spinning yo-yos like the Fireball & Raider. If you end up wanting a long spinning, wing shaped yo-yo for advanced string tricks than the Maverick is a great choice.

  • yomegas the bessssssssst

  • i havea maverick and its the best if your going for a string trust me get the mverick the best!!!

  • can u get the maverick in the uk if you can, can someone send a link to a website in the uk please?

  • The Maverick will be available on store shelves in the UK this spring.

  • thanks man

  • hey ooch im your biggest fan if you could could you email me that would be great. i want a yoyo but i cant seem to find a way to earn money for the yomega dash.

  • you cant do lop the lop in this yo yo

  • Looping tricks are best done by round shaped yoyos like the Raider or Raider Ex. Wing shaped models like the Maverick are best for string tricks.

  • which yoyo is better the maveric or the hotshot ?

  • Maveric

  • i would say the maveric

  • ...... no one is talking about yomega saber raider here i bought it today

  • how do i change the spacers on the hot shot?

  • you take out the spacers by taking a pen and pulling it out

  • I have the maverick and the hot shot, and they are great yo-yos.

  • how long does it spin?

  • agreed

  • Ive been looking at a lot of yoyos lately and ive seen really good ones. I am so happy with the Maverick im getting it today.
