@thtrevonator A-L-L-I-E-S all of you that are pissed about them using m1s should be quiet. arisakas and that stuff are lower quality, cheaper made weapons. they don't last under the wear and tear of exhibition drill. u all should be proud that another country uses OUR drill rifles.

the reason they are using the m1 garand becuz of the m1 is the only all purpose drill rifle other the m14 , it is perfectly balanced in weight and dynamics well fit for drill and lastly the countries allied with the u.s. like japan and china are sharing this rifle but only if they choose too some countries may any rifle they truly prefer

@spritual1 what people don't realize is that Japan doesn't have a military. Its called the "Self Defense Force." The US is completely in charge of all Japanese military power (because of their involvement in WWII) Their are several US Military bases all around japan with both US and Japanese soldiers there . Which is why japan's "military" is so Americanized, using US influenced drill, equipment, and techniques.

And p.s, Their guns were fucking loaded(with blanks of course) thats fucking awsom
