That's not his point. His point is people who have should be given the freedom to give to who he wishes. To have Government do it means they are forcing people via tax to support the poor which may sound noble on the surface, but what if you found out your portion of the taxes went on to funding an organization you don't believe in? The choice should be YOURS as to what to do with your money, not the government.
