He did his math wrong. Position is derived into velocity, and then velocity is turned into position. The absolute value of velocity is speed. So he's actually going the other way around.

Wow guys! That was really good. Best of your stuff that I've seen so far. Cool premise, interestingly executed. My one suggestion is to make the narration a little less wordy. My favourite scenes were the ones that showed the emptiness instead of the backdrop to his talking.

And dear narrator character: you should have went and found a physicist to talk to at some point :p I don't agree with a lot of his points, but they followed in clear succession and it made for a neat story.
